Gauge arrangement ситемы pneumosafety

The gauge of system of pneumosafety is located in a motor compartment.

Late models are equipped by system of pneumosafety (SRS-system) which is intended for protection of the driver in case of collision.

The system structure includes the packed pillow mounted in the form of the module in the centre of a steering wheel, 2 gauges of shock loading strengthened on forward mudguards in a motor compartment and the safety gauge which is in salon. The forcing device is under a pillow and is connected to it an aperture through which gas moves at receipt of an electric signal. The signal moves on a cable winded in a flexible spiral round a shaft of a wheel. 2 gauges at blow with the set force close a chain. Operation of the device of gas evolution occurs only at short circuit of contacts of the safety gauge on which signals from 2 gauges of shock loading arrive. The block in which the safety gauge contains, provides check of a condition of system of pneumosafety. The control lamp of system (lamp AIRBAG) at first lights up and at serviceable system dies away. If the system is faulty, the lamp continues to burn or blink. In this case it is necessary to hand over the car immediately in car-care centre for check.
