As a rule, they consist of very soft material with the enclosed carving part. The carving part will need to be "knocked over" then from a carving распорного a bolt.
- New nuts from Ťa set for fastening of system of release of the fulfilled gasesť consist also of this "soft" material. So it is not necessary to apply any other nuts from a house collection. The inhaling moment: 35 Н•м.

Ljambda-probe removal
Лямбда (oxygen) - the probe is necessary for removing at replacement каталитического neutralizer (or the probe).

- To hang out fastenings of wires at a body, to separate штекерные connections (to see a wire on all length).
- To unscrew a probe.
- At ljambda-probe installation it is necessary to grease with its lubricant means G 5 of a set of workshops Audi. Thus greasing should not get to a cut of the case of a probe. The inhaling moment: 50 Н•м.

Easing of a triangular flange
Similar connection can be found, for example, on a place of a socket of a forward final pipe/kataliticheskogo of neutralizer at 4 and 5-cylinder engines or after каталитических neutralizers at the 6-cylinder engine.

- To turn away three screw connections on a connecting flange.
- To watch a sealing lining – it should not fall to a floor. The firm material can burst.
- At work with the 6-cylinder engine not to forget to establish a spring and the plug in the necessary sequence. The moment of an inhaling of bolts: 25 Н•м.
- At an inhaling to watch that flange cheeks settled down in parallel each other.

Removal double скобы for pipe fastening
Double скоба for pipe fastening perfectly connects two pieces of a pipe with each other, allowing thus it is easy to separate them. Important: double скобу it is impossible to apply to pipe fastening in the second time. It it is necessary to replace already after easing one and only болтового connections.

- To notice position скобы for the subsequent installation.
- To weaken connections on double скобе for pipe fastening; before it to process a carving means for rust removal.
- If to separate connection nevertheless it is impossible, it is necessary to divide a bolt/nut by means of the detachable car.
- Other possibility: to cut down a nut a chisel. The moment of a stretch for connections: 40 Н•м.

Removal tightening скобы

- Before you will start to remove tightening скобу, it is necessary to remember precisely its position for installation: where show heads of bolts? Costs скоба horizontally or vertically?

Division of the basic and additional mufflers
Only all-wheel drive models
In case of original system of release of the fulfilled gases of all-wheel drive models Audi both mufflers are connected among themselves by an integral piece of a pipe. For replacement only one muffler is necessary for cutting this pipe.

- That there were no doubts, in which place it is necessary to saw, on an illustration the piece and = 300 mm is above shown.
- To cut a pipe the edging machine whenever possible at right angle.
- Because of a place lack under the car it is almost impossible to saw at even established mufflers. It is better to remove together both mufflers.
- Even if you need to change both mufflers – as spare parts you receive both mufflers separately.
- In this case they will be connected double скобой for fastening of pipes (also got as запчасть) – as is already described above. The moment of an inhaling of bolts: 25 Н•м.

Assemblage of system of release of the fulfilled gases
Slantwise established system of release of the fulfilled gases can become the reason of unpleasant loud low sounds. Therefore:

- Before an inhaling of connections to suspend an exhaust system freely on loops of fastening and to verify:
- All elements should be on some distance from a body.
- The tip should have everywhere identical distance from cut in a bumper.
- Fastening on a transmission to tighten without pressure the moment 25 Н•м. To watch correct installation of a sleeve and a spring.
- Preliminary inhaling of system of release of the fulfilled gases for an equilibration of deformations at the raised temperature: at all-wheel drive models the fixing loop behind on the basic muffler should have 7 – 10 mm of a preliminary inhaling (an illustration below); at front-wheel models the bolt of a back suspension bracket of an exhaust pipe should act on 10 mm from rubber.
- Safety earrings of fixing rings are acting ends крепежей – to turn approximately on 90 °. To watch that thus on fastening has been clamped.
- In summary to tighten all connections of system of release of the fulfilled gases – beginning in front. The inhaling moments are described in the previous paragraph.

Safety earrings of fixing rings (these are the acting ends крепежей) should be turned after installation approximately on 90 °.
