8.1.2. Shock-absorber replacement

The prevention

At replacement of the shock-absorber the car should stand on wheels.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To remove the decorative cap closing access to a nut of the top fastening of the shock-absorber. 2. To turn away a nut of the top fastening of the shock-absorber, keeping a rod of the shock-absorber from проворачивания with the help шестигранника. 3. To mark position of washers on the top support of a rack, having led round their contour, for preservation of a corner of disorder of forward wheels. 4. To turn away a nut of fastening and to remove the top support of a rack. 5. Steering wheel turn to centre a rod of the shock-absorber concerning the basis of the top support. 6. To remove from a rod of the shock-absorber a washer and the buffer of a course of compression. 7. Through spring coils to compress a protective cover and to remove a protective cap. 8. To turn on by means of the special adaptation a nut of the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber (at servicing deports the adaptation 2069 is used). 9. To take out the shock-absorber upwards.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To establish the shock-absorber upside-down. 2. Thus to fill the top edge of a protective cover in a spring lining, having pressed to a protective ring. 3. A nut of the top fastening of the shock-absorber to replace on new and to tighten its moment 60 Н·м (6,0 кгс·м), keeping thus a rod of the shock-absorber from проворачивания with the help шестигранника.
