The stoplight switch

The switch of a signal of braking is located in car Audi 80 hardly above a pedal of a brake and becomes accessible only after shelf removal at the left (has undressed Salon). If you squeeze out a pedal the switch pin is put forward outside and closes contact to brake fires.

After shelf removal at the left under the instrument panel there is accessible a switch of a stoplight (1). It is in the holder hardly above a pedal of a brake (2).

Adjustment of the switch of a stoplight

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove a shelf at the left under the instrument panel.
  2. To press a hand a brake pedal.
  3. With effort to submit forward against the stop the switch of a signal of braking on its directing.
  4. Now to release a pedal of a brake and to delay back against the stop the switch.
  5. Thanking these manipulations the stoplight switch itself will accept the necessary position.

Check of the switch of a stoplight

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To disconnect a wire tip.
  2. To put a crosspiece on connections of wires in the tip.
  3. If now brake fires light up, means, the stoplight switch was faulty.
