5.3.3. Check of a regulator of pressure of fuel

Regulator arrangement on 4-cylinder engines

1. Disconnect and muffle a vacuum hose of a regulator of pressure of fuel. Connect to a regulator the manual vacuum pump. Start the engine and consider the indication of pressure of fuel without depression on a regulator. Create depression in a regulator and again consider pressure of fuel. With depression growth on a regulator pressure of fuel should decrease. Compare pressure to the standard.
2. Attach a vacuum hose to a regulator and check up pressure of fuel idling. Compare pressure to the standard. Disconnect a hose and again consider pressure, – as soon as the hose is disconnected pressure should increase jump to the top standard limit. If pressure of fuel idling at the disconnected hose too high measure by the vacuum gauge depression size on a vacuum hose. If the vacuum gauge shows nothing, check up tightness of the hose, a soaking up collector and the levelling chamber.
3. If pressure of fuel lowered reliably press a return gasoline pipe line and consider indications of pressure of fuel. If pressure does not increase, the fuel pump is faulty, or the highway of giving of fuel is littered. If pressure has sharply increased, replace a pressure regulator.
4. If pressure of fuel too high execute декомпрессию systems, disconnect a return gasoline pipe line and blow. If the gasoline pipe line is not littered, a pressure regulator.
5. If the behaviour of pressure differs from described in point 2 a pressure regulator replace.
6. Execute декомпрессию and remove a manometre.
7. Wrap the union of the distributor of fuel, preliminary having replaced linings.
8. Wipe the spilt gasoline. Start the engine and check up presence of a leak of gasoline.
