THE GENERAL DATA

SYSTEM OF INJECTION MPI/MPFI


Tips of system of injection MPI

A – regulation of the oxygen gauge, the idling switch, a measuring instrument of the mass expense of air etc.

In – a measuring instrument of frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft, the onboard computer, management of an automatic transmission

With – перепускные valves of an inlet collector, рециркуляция the fulfilled gases etc.

D – клапанные atomizers, system with the activated coal etc.

Resistance check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Pull out the tip клапанной atomizers.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between both contacts клапанной atomizers.
3. Resistance should make from 15 to 17 Ohm, otherwise клапанную an atomizer replace. Pay attention to accuracy of the used measuring device, if necessary check up клапанную an atomizer once again in a workshop before it to replace.
4. Insert the tip and check up the following atomizer.

Check of feeding pressure

Preconditions for check:

    – The relay of the fuel pump and management of this relay is perfectly in order;
    – The thermosafety lock 3 (a red clip) the block of system of ignition in the right niche for feet is perfectly in order.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the tip клапанной atomizers (fig. Tips of system of injection MPI see; it is shown on the right below). A control lamp on semi-conductor diodes connect to contact of 1 tip and weight of the engine (–).
2. Ask the assistant to include for some seconds a starter, thus a control lamp should burn.
3. Otherwise check up integrity of connection of the wires going to safety lock N13.

Management check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. A control lamp connect to contacts 1 and 2 tips.
2. Ask the assistant to include for some seconds a starter (the engine thus also can be got). The control lamp should blink.
3. Otherwise execute electric check of system of injection MPI/MPFI. At detection eliminate breakage or short circuit in a wire to contact of tip D of system MPI/MPFI. See the table.
4. The tip insert and check up the following atomizer. If the control lamp at check of all клапанных atomizers does not blink, check up feeding pressure of the block of management.
5. If feeding pressure is perfectly in order, defect of the block of management of system of injection MPI/MPFI, as a rule, takes place.
