Hydraulic pushers

For check of hydraulic pushers it is necessary to press a plastic or wooden wedge (1) the unloaded hydraulic pushers (2). Metal tools with which it is possible to scratch easily a surface of a hydraulic pusher, it is impossible to apply.

For what hydraulic pushers are necessary?

Because of heating of the engine components of a drive of valves are extended. Therefore between a camshaft and тарельчатыми the small backlash that and at разогретом the engine valves were densely closed despite the cores which have become by a little longer should be pushers. In клапанном a drive, at old cars it was necessary to regulate this backlash, a so-called backlash through certain time intervals. Knocks of valves

Knocking noise in the field of a head of the block of cylinders (also see above in this chapter) specify in one or several defective hydraulic pushers.

Knock of valves can arise, however, and at пролностью serviceable hydraulic pushers, if:

  • Supply of pushers by oil is not provided yet – the engine has not enough got warm.
  • The car shortly before that worked in full loading at high external temperatures.
  • The car long time not эскплуатировался. In this case knock of valves should stop most later at achievement by the engine of working temperature.
  • At very low level of oil the oil pump sometimes involves air.

Search of a faulty hydraulic pusher

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To start the engine and to leave to work until the electric fan of system of cooling will not earn for the first time.
  2. To increase frequency of rotation approximately to 2500 rpm on two minutes.
  3. If knock of valves does not stop, to stop the engine and to uncover heads of the block of cylinders.
  4. The first cylinder to establish on ВМТ the ignition moment.
  5. Both тарельчатых a pusher near the first cylinder to press down downwards a wooden wedge. If the pusher moves more than on 0,1 mm, it is necessary to replace it (as pushers cannot be repaired).
  6. To repeat this procedure with other cylinders. For this purpose to expose the corresponding cylinder in position ВМТ. ВМТ it is exposed in the event that on the controllable cylinder camshaft cams in regular intervals show upwards.

Replacement of a hydraulic pusher

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove a camshaft.
  2. To extend old тарельчатый a pusher.
  3. A few to oil directing a pusher and to insert a pusher.
  4. To put a camshaft.
  5. After installation new тарельчатого a pusher it is impossible to get the engine during 30 mines! It should "sit down" at first. Otherwise valves can face pistons.
