During first thousand kilometres rubbing parts of the engine (pistons and cylinders; bearings of sliding and shaft) should have possibility to be earned extra. It is necessary, that it occurred at low loading and low frequency of rotation. The subsequent capacity of the engine and term of its service depend on it. Therefore:

  • Do not squeeze out full "gas"; if at you an automatic transmission, prevent position of full loading and sharp pressing against the stop on an accelerator pedal. The maximum frequency of rotation: 4200 rpm!
  • Squeeze out more than 4200 rpm not earlier, than the engine will reach working temperature; at the cold engine be switched earlier.
  • At passage of the first 1000—1500 km the engine should be dispersed gradually till the maximum speed or as much as possible admissible frequency of rotation (6300 rpm are short-term).

 The help: everything that here has been told about the new engine, it is even more necessary to consider at the engine which is passing обкатку after major repairs which, as it is known, reacts to a wrong manner of driving more sensitively.
