On cars considered in the present Management the 3-section system of release of the fulfilled gases (illustrations System of release of the fulfilled gases equipped catalytic the converter of models and System of release of the fulfilled gases of models without каталитического the converter see) is used. The shown schemes are characteristic for all lineup of cars Citroyon Xantia. All sections of a final path are connected among themselves by means of фланцевых joints. For fastening of a reception pipe to a flange of a final collector bolts with nuts are used, tightness of a joint is reached at the expense of the central sealing ring. The spherical form of interfaced surfaces of connection and use подпружиненных washers provide flexibility of a joint and mobility of sections of system concerning a final collector (see the left bottom insert illustrations). For connection of among themselves remained sections special collars with blooming rings are used (see Inserts "and" on illustrations).

On the models equipped catalytic with the converter, assemblage of the last is a part of forward section of a final path and is built in in a reception pipe of system of release of the fulfilled gases.

Posting of sections of system it is carried out by means of rubber basic rings.

Diesel models

On diesel models without каталитического the converter the two-section scheme (a reception pipe and final section) can be used. And, in a place of a joint of a reception pipe with catalytic the converter the broad chamber is provided. In the rest the system design does not differ from considered above applied on petrol engines. On accompanying illustrations components of fixture of a joint of a reception pipe of system of release of the fulfilled gases with турбокомпрессором are illustrated.

On equipped catalytic the converter models the system consists of three sections: каталитического the converter, an intermediate pipe and an exhaust pipe. For converter fastening to a final collector the flexible joint, providing to system relative freedom of moving is used. Other sections fasten among themselves by means of collars with blooming rings.

On all length of section of system are suspended to arms on the bottom of the car by means of rubber rings.

Removal

The system of release of the fulfilled gases can act in film from the car посекционно. In view of features of position of a back cross-section beam system removal in gathering probably only after a detachment from it final section.

To make removal of system or its separate section it is necessary preliminary поддомкратить the car and to establish it on reliable props. Alternatively the car can be tired out on a platform or a viewing hole.

Thermofilter ()

For fastening of thermofilters to the car bottom bolts and nuts are used various type. Removal of each of screens becomes possible only after dismantle of corresponding section of system of release of the fulfilled gases. If the screen acts in film only for the purpose of providing of access to the components located behind it, on some models will weaken only its fixture enough and slightly to lower a plate.
