The general information and safety measures

The general information

On all models of cars of the considered mark the system of cooling of the closed type, working under pressure is used. Into system structure enter the water pump which drive is carried out from газораспределительного a belt, a radiator of a cross-section-line design (on some models with the built in broad tank), the electric fan (), the thermostat, and also the complete set of connecting hoses and gauges-switches.
The cold cooling liquid from a radiator on the bottom hose arrives in the water pump which provides its giving in galleries of the block and a head of cylinders (and also in the heat exchanger of a heater of salon), and, - at a corresponding complete set, - in маслоохладитель (). After selection of heat from surfaces of cylinders, chambers of combustion and saddles of the valves, the cooling liquid reaches the bottom part of the thermostat which in an initial condition is closed. Further, the cooling liquid passes through the heater heat exchanger then, through the block of cylinders, comes back back to the water pump.

While the engine has not got warm to some certain temperature, the cooling liquid continues to circulate on a short contour, passing through the block/head of cylinders and the heater heat exchanger. As soon as the engine temperature reaches some established value, there is a thermostat opening therefore the radiator is connected to a contour of circulation of a liquid. In a radiator there is конвективная a return of heat from a liquid to a running stream of air which efficiency is defined by the developed area of edges of the heat exchanger of a radiator and speed of a running stream. It is in case of need provided additional having blown in a radiator at the expense of inclusion of the electric fan (ов) in cooling systems. Leaving a radiator, the cooled liquid repeats the running cycle.

When the engine temperature reaches normal working value, surplus of a cooling liquid, образовывающийся at the expense of its thermal expansion, is superseded in a broad tank, whence, in process of cooling, comes back back in a working path of system.

On models with АТ the part of the cooling liquid leaving the bottom hose of a radiator, is passed through cooler ATF established on transmission. On the models equipped маслоохладителем, the liquid is passed as well through the heat exchanger of the last.

The electric fan () which functioning the thermosensitive gauge-switch of system of cooling operates, is established ahead of a radiator. As soon as the temperature of a cooling liquid reaches some established value, there is a fan inclusion therefore having blown in the radiator heat exchanger increases that conducts to efficiency increase теплоотдачи.

Safety measures

In avoidance ошпаривания, do not uncover at all a broad tank and do not disconnect any components охладительного a path at the hot engine. If there is a necessity for removal of a cover of a broad tank before full cooling of a cooling liquid, (though such situations should be avoided whenever possible), it is necessary to dump preliminary superfluous pressure in system. Wrap up a tank cover a thick layer of rags, then slowly turn on before hissing. When specifying in release of steam hissing will stop, slowly turn away a cover up to the end. If at last stage отворачивания hissing does not renew, the cover can be removed. In the course of performance of all procedure do not incline the person over a tank mouth, for protection of hands put on rubber gloves.


Try to avoid antifreeze hit on open sites of a skin and a paint and varnish covering кузовных panels. Casual splashes should be washed off immediately plentiful quantity at its finest. At all do not leave merged of the engine or a fresh cooling liquid stored in open container. The spilt liquid at once collect rags. Remember that the sweetish smell of antifreeze is capable to draw attention of children and animals. Hit even insignificant quantity of a cooling liquid in a digestive path of a live organism is fraught with the most serious consequences, up to a lethal outcome.


Remember that at the hot engine the fan of system of cooling continues to function even after ignition deenergizing! Protect hands, try not to suppose hit of edges of clothes in contact to blades крыльчатки.
