6.2.5. The blocking switch

THE GENERAL DATA

The switch blocks engine start in all positions of the selector except P and N. Check or switch replacement Otherwise is required.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Lift the car.

2. Disconnect from the switch a socket.

3. At the switched off ignition check up resistance between switch conclusions (the Resistance tab. between switch conclusions see). If necessary adjust the switch or replace.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Translate the selector in position N.

2. Release a bolt of the switch (2) and adjust position, for this purpose release a bolt, insert a flute (3) in the area of a neutral (1) and, keeping the switch, tighten a bolt.

3. For switch replacement расконтрите a washer also turn away a nut.

4. Turn away a bolt and remove the switch.

5. Assemblage is carried out upside-down. Adjust the switch.
