12.1.3.1. Removal and generator installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To disconnect a wire from "the minus" plug of the storage battery.

2. To disconnect from generator plugs electric wires, preliminary having marked them.

3. To weaken an inhaling of bolts of fastening of the generator to an arm both an adjusting lath and a bolt of fastening of an adjusting lath.

4. To turn the generator to the engine block, to weaken a belt tension.

5. To remove a generator belt.

6. To turn away bolts of the top and bottom fastening of the generator.

7. To remove the generator.

8. To establish the generator upside-down. After that to adjust a tension of a belt of a drive (subsection 12.1.3.4 see). To tighten bolts of fastening of an adjusting lath and the generator to an adjusting lath the moment 20 Н·м (2,0 кгс·м), and a bolt of fastening of the generator to an arm the moment 30 Н·м (3,0 кгс·м).
