From the list of safety measures the following is especially important:

PERFORMANCE ORDER

At repair of a pillow of safety it is obligatory to disconnect the accumulator.
In addition to separate штекерное connection under a covering of a steering column.
At interruption of works never to leave a safety pillow out of sight.
To put the block of a pillow of safety only a power absorbing plate (lining) upwards.
At welding works on the car to disconnect the storage battery.
After road accident to replace all components of system.
To spend car recycling only according to instructions!

Steering wheel removal

The models supplied with a pillow of safety

Removal of a steering wheel of the car supplied with a pillow of safety, it is possible to recommend only to the skilled mechanic. The one who неуверен in the forces, should address in a workshop.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

It is obligatory to observe safety precautions requirements.
To disconnect a cable of the storage battery, the leader to "weight".
To disconnect the block of a pillow of safety at the left and on the right on a steering wheel behind by means of key Т30.
To put the block of an inflatable pillow of safety back.
To disconnect safety скобу the tip of the block of a pillow of safety.
To disconnect the tip from the block of a pillow of safety.
To put the block of a pillow of safety so that rings Audi on the block were visible.
To remove the top part of a covering of a steering column.
To extend штекерное connection of a supply of conducting of the block of a pillow of safety from the bottom part of a covering. For this purpose a screw-driver slightly to press a fixing ledge in the middle of the bottom part of the tip and to extend connection.

At installation in addition to the instructions, concerning models without a safety pillow, it is necessary to consider the following: after installation of a steering wheel and an inhaling of bolts a hand to screw a fixing bolt of the block of a pillow of safety.
Then to tighten at first right (on a car course) a bolt the moment 6 Н•м.
In last turn to tighten the left bolt the moment 6 Н•м.
