3.2.9. Removal and engine installation Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Execute actions on декомпрессии fuel system (subsection 6.10 see) and disconnect the battery from weight.

2. Remove a cowl, the air filter and air lines.

3. Merge a liquid and oil from the engine and a check point.

4. Accurately designate and disconnect from the engine all hoses, wires and cables, including kick-down-mode and cruise-control cables. Fuel hoses muffle.

5. Remove a radiator (except engine M40), the fan (subsection 4.6 see) and a casing.

6. Remove drive belts.

7. Remove the compressor, take aside and fix, without disconnecting from highways.

8. Remove a starter and the generator.

9. Remove an exhaust system (subsection 7.1.1 see).

10. On а/м from an automatic transmission remove hydrotransformer fastening to a leading disk. On engine M40 turn on from the pallet of the union of tubes of a cooler трансмиссионной liquids.

11. Assign hooks of the engine a chain or таль. If hooks are removed, a chain it is possible to assign hairpins of a soaking up collector, having laid the big washer and having tightened a nut.

12. Choose a weak point in тали (chains).

13. On engines M10 and М20 remove a back cross-beam and slightly lower a back part of a check point.

14. Turn away bolts of fastening of a check point to the engine.

15. Turn away a nut of fastening of support of the engine to a stretcher. On engines M40 turn away bolts and remove from support демпферы.

16. Be convinced that all details connecting the engine with a body or transmission are removed. All remained details designate and remove.

17. Slightly raise the engine and cautiously submit it forward and deduce from a check point. On а/м from an automatic transmission track the hydrotransformer. If the hydrotransformer descends together with the engine remove it with коленвала, otherwise leave it on transmission. Lift the engine and deduce from a motor compartment.

The prevention
If the hydrotransformer descends together with the engine at assemblage replace a forward epiploon of transmission as it can be damaged.

18. Remove a flywheel (a leading disk) and a back intensifying plate.

Installation
Installation is carried out upside-down. On а/м from an automatic transmission before assemblage establish the hydrotransformer on a check point, and then establish on a leading disk. On а/м from a manual transmission before assemblage grease a sock of a primary shaft of a check point with refractory greasing. Fill the conditioner with a coolant and check up tightness of highways.
