9.17. SHRUS and covers

The prevention

The manufacturer in spare parts delivers cutting covers of SHRUS which are established without removal of a semiaxis after cutting of an old cover. However it is recommended to remove полуось and to clear the hinge that will prolong term of its service. In this case establish an integral cover.

The external SHRUS varies with a semiaxis, the internal hinge varies separately. It is recommended to replace, however, полуось in gathering.

Check and replacement

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Covers are checked by smoothing and перекручиванием. Presence on a cover of traces of greasing and anguishes is not supposed. Replace the hinge at detection in it notable люфта. 2. Remove полуось. 3. Remove collars of the big and small covers of SHRUS. 4. Bring down a hinge cap. 5. Remove the big lock ring. 6. Cautiously knock on a semiaxis and remove the SHRUS. 7. Remove covers of hinges. 8. Clear hinges of the rests of greasing and check up their condition. If on the hinge there are appreciable signs of deterioration replace полуось. 9. Wrap up шлицы a tape. 10. Cautiously напрессуйте the hinge. 11. Put greasing, having filled hinge cavities. 12. Dress a cover and fix a small collar, the collar is tightened by the special adaptation. 13. Bend the collar terminations. 14. Fill a cover with greasing and establish a cap. Dress the big collar and fix. 15. Establish полуось.
