2.3.1.9. Check of a potentiometer of a throttle

THE GENERAL DATA

The throttle potentiometer displays each time position of a throttle and its change. During acceleration, the management equipment receives the information on how quickly and on what corner it is inclined throttle заслонка. Closed дросель informs the management equipment on continuation of work of the engine idling.

Measurement of resistance of a potentiometer of a throttle

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1) take a plug with the wires feeding a potentiometer 2) measure all resistance of a potentiometer between the terminations 1 and 3. The Normal amount should equal: 1.4–1.6 clod 3) start the engine and leave it to idle 4) remove the pipeline of removal of air between a regulator of position of a throttle and the filter of system of airing. From outside the filter establish заглушку. For this purpose it is possible to use bolts of the corresponding diameter 5) muffle the engine. Throttle заслонка should close a mouth completely 6) measure resistance between the terminations 1 and 2 potentiometers and simultaneously reject throttle заслонку before position "full gas". Resistance should decrease smoothly to initial size 1.4–2.4 clod at "closed" throttle заслонке to size less than 270 Ohm in position of "full opening" throttle заслонки 7) take out заглушку from the pipeline of removal of air and put on the pipeline the union at the air filter 8) connect a plug to a potentiometer
