1. Insufficient or superfluous level of a liquid in automatic transmission leads to failure of this unit. |
2. Level should be checked after a trip to a usual mode on distance not less than 32 km. Level also can be checked up (but it is less exact) on a cold box (parking not less than 5 hours, temperature of a liquid 20 °). After a long trip, or a trip with the big loading wait not less than 30 minutes |
3. Immediately after a trip establish the car on an equal horizontal platform, include a manual brake, start the engine and press a brake pedal. Idling translate the selector lever in all positions and put in position Рark. |
4. Get probe from a transmission branch pipe (the engine continues to idle), wipe probe. Again insert probe into a branch pipe. Get probe and check up liquid level. |
|
5. Level should be between two marks (are specified by arrows). If necessary accurately add a liquid of the corresponding mark through a branch pipe probeа, using a funnel with the filter.
|
6. Have in view of that liquid volume between marks about 0,5 l. Therefore add in the small portions. |
7. Check up a liquid condition. If the liquid of black colour, or possesses "a burnt" smell it is necessary to replace a liquid (see subsection 2.30). |
