6.3.9.1. Check and adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up adjustment клапанного the mechanism. 2. Establish the piston of cylinder N 1 in position ВМТ at the moment of a compression step. The mark in a pump pulley should be combined with a mark in a pump arm (marks are specified by arrows). 3. Turn a cranked shaft of the engine against a normal direction of rotation so that the mark in a pulley was approximately on 5,0 sm more to the left of mark ВМТ. 4. Remove заглушку from a pump underside. 5. Establish the indicator of hour type (it is specified by an arrow). 6. Again establish the piston of cylinder N 1 in position ВМТ at the moment of a step of compression and compare indications of the gauge to values in subsection 6.3.1.

Adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Loosen the bolts of fastening of halves of a pulley of the fuel pump. 2. Turn an internal part of a pulley against the stop counter-clockwise. 3. Null indications of the indicator and turn an internal part of a pulley clockwise so that the indicator of hour type showed demanded value.
