3.3. Dismantle and engine major repairs

In the given subsection the order of performance of such works, as dismantle of the power unit from the car and major repairs of a head of the block of cylinders, the block of cylinders / картера коленвала, and other details of the engine is in detail considered.

Advice about preparation and the organisation of works about major repairs and acquisition of spare parts are given, procedures of removal, check of a technical condition, repair and installation of knots and engine details are in detail described.

Since following section the description is conducted in the assumption that the engine is removed from the car. The description of kinds of repair without removal of the engine from the car is resulted in subsection 3.1.2 and subsection 3.2.2.

In the subsection beginning all standard data necessary for check of a technical condition and major repairs which procedures are described more low are cited. The additional data is resulted in subsection 3.1.1 and subsection 3.2.1.
