The prevention

Коленвал it is possible to remove only after dismantle of the engine from the car. Preliminary remove a flywheel (or a leading disk), a pulley-uspokoitel, a belt (chain), the pallet, маслоприемник, the oil pump, a forward cover and rods with pistons.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Preliminary check up axial люфт коленвала. Displace коленвал towards a back part of the engine, having made the maximum effort, and in this position establish an indicator scale on a zero. Then push a cranked shaft towards a forward part of the engine and consider indicator indications. The size axial люфта is equal to distance on which the shaft has moved.
2. If axial люфт exceeds standard value check up deterioration of persistent surfaces of cheeks коленвала. If their deterioration insignificant it is necessary to replace half rings
3. In the absence of a display head люфт it is possible to measure by means of a set probeов. Cautiously displace коленвал towards a forward part of the engine and measure axial люфт, laying probeы between a cheek коленвала and a surface of 3rd (persistent) radical bearing on 4-cylinder engines, or 2nd radical bearing (V6).
4. Check up presence on covers ориентационных the marksman and marks of number of the cylinder (are specified by an arrow). Usually covers are numbered beginning from a forward part of the engine, ориентационные arrows are turned aside передка.
5. If marks are absent, put labels a stamp. Labels are put on inflow near to a bolt head.
6. Release bolts of covers on 1/4 turns at one time in sequence of return specified (at the left – 4-cylinder engines, on the right – engines 6V), until then while bolts not begin to turn away by hand. On engines 3VZ-FE (V6) covers are executed in the form of a uniform skeleton. Designate position of hairpins which are used as directing pins.
7. Cautiously displace covers and remove them together with the loose leaf (ами).
