10.2.3. Removal, installation and adjustment of a cable of a choice of transfers

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a wire of weight from the accumulator. 2. Release the selector lever for what unscrew and move back the central console, then disconnect decorative furnish from the central console and the selector lever. 3. Remove the holder of a bulb. 4. Disconnect a cable and a cover of a cable from the selector lever. 5. Remove a lock ring and disconnect a cable from a transmission. 6. Take a cover of a cable from an arm (And – скоба cable fastenings, In – an arm of fastening of a cover of a cable). 7. In car salon adhere to the cable end a thin long cord which is required for cable installation into place. 8. Take a cable in a motor compartment and untie from it a cord, having left it on a place.

Installation and adjustment

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. At installation of a new cable establish the lever of a choice of transfers on a transmission and the selector lever in River position 2. Establish a cable so that it has not been strongly tense, but at the same time and did not sag. 3. Check up that the selector lever moves to all positions and thus the lever of a choice of transfers on a transmission is combined with a corresponding clamp. 4. If necessary adjust length of a cable from outside the central console. 5. The further installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
