3.1.3.2.4. Check of level of oil in a mechanical transmission

THE GENERAL DATA

Establish the car in horizontal position over a viewing hole. Oil level check not earlier than in 5 minutes after an engine stop.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clear area round a stopper of level of oil of a transmission. The stopper of level of oil is located about the internal hinge of a power shaft on models with engines 1,2, 1,3, 1,4 and late models 1,6 of l on the left side of a transmission, and on other models on the right side of a transmission.

2. Oil level should reach an aperture bottom edge under a stopper of level of oil.

3. If it is necessary to add oil in a transmission, unscrew сапун in the top part картера transmissions (drawing at the left) and add necessary quantity of oil through an aperture сапуна until oil will not start to follow from apertures under a stopper of level of oil (drawing on the right).
