8.2.3.3. Repair of the distributor of ignition

THE GENERAL DATA

The contactless distributor of ignition of type АС-DELCO

1 – a cover of the distributor, 2 – a rotor, 3 – a shaft, 4 – a pin, 5 – a flange of a drive, 6 – a spring, 7 – a washer, 8 – a spring, 9 – a sealing ring of round section,

10 – the case, 11 – a lining, 12 – the block of ignition, 13 – the inductive gauge, 14 – a lock ring, 15 – a vacuum regulator Advancings of ignition, 16 – an electric socket To the ignition coil

MODELS 1,3 AND 1,4 WITH THE CARBURETTOR

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the distributor of ignition from the engine. 2. Unscrew two screws and remove a distributor rotor. 3. Disconnect two electric sockets located from two parties of the block of ignition. 4. Unscrew two screws and remove the block of ignition from the ignition distributor. 5. Unscrew two screws, fastening a vacuum regulator of an advancing of ignition and remove a regulator, thus disconnect draught of a regulator. 6. The further dismantling of the distributor of ignition is not recommended. 7. Check up a condition of a cover of the distributor of ignition on presence of corrosion and обгорания electrodes. 8. Check up smoothness of moving of coal contact in the cover centre. 9. Check up a condition of a rotor of the distributor of ignition and, if necessary, replace it. 10. Check up that at vacuum creation in a vacuum regulator of an advancing of ignition draught of a regulator moves. 11. Check up size люфта a shaft in the case of the distributor of ignition. 12. Check up smoothness of moving грузиков a centrifugal regulator of an advancing of ignition. 13. Assemblage is made in sequence, return dismantling. 14. Put some drops of engine oil on turn points грузиков a centrifugal regulator of an advancing of ignition. 15. At installation of the new block of ignition put on a back surface of the block a thin layer теплопроводной greasings. 16. Establish the ignition distributor on the engine.

L MODELS 1,6 (16 SH) AND 1,8 L (18)

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the ignition distributor. 2. Remove a rotor of the distributor and искрогасящий the screen. 3. Though the top basic plate can be removed, but it is not meaningful, as spare parts to the ignition distributor are absent on sale, and it is not required any adjustments. 4. If necessary replace a vacuum regulator of an advancing of ignition. 5. Unscrew two screws of fastening of a regulator, disconnect draught of a regulator from a basic plate. 6. Remove a vacuum regulator of an advancing of ignition. 7. Check up that at vacuum creation in a vacuum regulator of an advancing of ignition draught of a regulator moves. 8. Check up a condition of a cover of the distributor of ignition on presence of corrosion and обгорания electrodes. 9. Check up smoothness of moving of coal contact in the cover centre. 10. Check up a condition of a rotor of the distributor of ignition and, if necessary, replace it. 11. Assemblage of the distributor of ignition is made in sequence, return dismantling. 12. Check up correctness of an arrangement of draught of a vacuum regulator of an advancing of ignition on a basic plate. 13. Establish the ignition distributor.

L MODELS 1,6 (16 SV) WITH THE CARBURETTOR AND MODELS 1,4, 1,6 AND 2,0 WITH 8-Ю VALVES WITH SYSTEM OF INJECTION OF FUEL

Repair of the distributor of ignition is necessary for making at servicing deport Opel.
