Depending on an ambient temperature or depression the temperature regulator operates a stream of the warm or cold air submitted to the carburettor. Temperature regulator damage will lead to faults at increase in frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft of not heated-up engine, to increase of the expense of fuel and обмерзанию an inlet pipe of the engine. Check a temperature regulator on the cold engine. Заслонка (fig. the Air filter see) should turn freely, without jammings.
PERFORMANCE ORDER |
1. To weaken a collar and to remove from a branch pipe of a temperature regulator a hose. To check up position заслонки. The aperture of giving of warm air should be blocked. |
2. To remove the filter from the carburettor (subsection 6.1.2 see). |
3. To connect a hose to the carburettor, having put on it a branch pipe instead of a hose. |
4. To start the engine and to allow to it to work idling. Заслонка should turn and open access to warm air. |
5. To disconnect from the carburettor a hose. Заслонка should turn and block access to warm air. If it does not occur, to replace a temperature regulator. |
