The temperature regulator valve (fig. the Air filter see) operates заслонкой. At the faulty valve there can be faults in engine work idling in a warming up mode, fault at increase in frequency of rotation, the engine develops insufficient capacity, the fuel expense increases. The valve check on the cold engine. Заслонка should turn easily, without jammings. On the warm engine depending on an ambient temperature access of warm air should be blocked partially or completely.
| PERFORMANCE ORDER |
| 1. To remove the filter, without disconnecting hoses (5) and (17). |
| 2. To start the engine and to leave to idle. |
| 3. To disconnect a hose from the valve. Заслонка should block giving of warm air. |
| 4. To put on the valve a hose. Заслонка should open access to warm air. |
| 5. To disconnect a hose. Заслонка should turn and block access to warm air. If it does not occur, the valve means is faulty. |
