The general information

4-cylinder engines of various types are applied to installation in the car. Engines have water cooling and settle down across an impellent compartment. The power unit is suspended above as a pendulum on two резинометаллических support. The twisting moment is perceived by the support located below. Such fastening of the engine provides the minimum transfer of fluctuations on a body that promotes comfort increase.

The block of cylinders is executed from aluminium, cylinders запрессованы and are made of grey pig-iron. At some engines the block is entirely executed from pig-iron. The head of cylinders fastens to the block bolts. A head cast from aluminium, a saddle of valves steel, запрессованные. From a steel directing plugs of valves are executed also. At petrol engines fresh fuel-air the mix arrives on the one hand heads of cylinders, and combustion products leave from a head opposite side. Such scheme provides fast gas exchange through inlet and final valves. At diesel engines with I aim economy of a place the inlet pipeline and a final collector heads of cylinders are located on the one hand.

The petrol engine of 1.6 l, the diesel engine of 1.9 l: the camshaft located in a head of cylinders, is resulted in rotation by a gear belt from a cranked shaft. The camshaft through hydropushers actuates hanging vertically inlet and final valves. The diesel engine has direct injection which is carried out through located sideways at the block of cylinders the distributive fuel pump of a high pressure (ТНВД) distributive type. The pump is set in motion by a gear belt.

The engine of 1.8 l: the Engine has 3 inlet and 2 final valves. Inlet valves are set in motion by one camshaft, final other shaft. The camshaft of final valves is resulted in rotation from a cranked shaft through a gear belt. For a drive of a camshaft of inlet valves it is connected by a chain to shaft of final valves. The mnogoklapannaja scheme provides the best filling of cylinders and more effective gas exchange that more mix fuel-air in turn promotes an effective utilisation of energy. In engines of 1.8 l capacity of 92 and 154 kw applies electrohydraulic adjustment of camshafts. Adjustment of position of a camshaft of inlet valves concerning a shaft of final valves depending on number of turns of the engine is thus carried out. Engines of 1.8 l capacity 110, 132 and 154 kw have a turbo-supercharging.

All engines: Hydropushers provide automatic maintenance to constants клапанного a backlash that excludes necessity of adjustment at maintenance service carrying out.

Greasing of engines is carried out by the oil pump placed in the pallet картера. The oil pump by a chain from a cranked shaft is resulted in rotation. Oil the pump from картера moves through channels to bearings of cranked and distributive shaft, and also to working surfaces of cylinders.

The pump of a cooling liquid is located sideways in the block of cylinders and set in motion by a gear belt of the mechanism timing. It is necessary to mean that the cooling system should be all-the-year-round filled by a mix of antifreeze and means for protection against corrosion, and also water with the low maintenance to exhaust. For preparation and ignition mix fuel-air serves the control system of the engine which is not demanding service. Adjustment of the moment of ignition or idling within the limits of maintenance service is not required. It is necessary to change regularly only candles and an element of the air filter. At the diesel engine within the limits of maintenance service replace the fuel filter.
ATTENTION

The radiator fan can join at the idle engine and the switched off ignition. It can repeatedly happen owing to presence in an impellent compartment of thermal zones. Therefore at work in an impellent compartment with the warm engine it is necessary to mean possibility of unexpected inclusion of the fan.
