THE GENERAL DATA

Power shaft with the hinge of equal angular speeds

1 – a lock ring. Necessarily replace.
2 – a sealing lining. Necessarily replace. Remove a protective film and paste to the hinge.
3 – the internal hinge of equal angular speeds, 100 mm
4 – a spring тарельчатая. On internal diameter has teeths. The big diameter adjoins to the hinge.
5 – a protective cover. For the hinge of equal angular speeds of 100 mm. A cover inside grease with hermetic AUDI «D3».
6 – a shaft. For the hinge of equal angular speeds of 100 mm.
7 collar. Necessarily replace.
8 – a protective cover. For the hinge of equal angular speeds of 90 mm.
9 – a collar

8 – a shaft left. With internal hinge Tripode. In the presence of damages it is necessary to replace the internal hinge and a shaft.
9 – the screw with an internal teeth, 45 Н•м
10 – the hinge right. With hinge Tripode. In the presence of damages it is necessary to replace the internal hinge and a shaft.

ATTENTION

After отворачивания двенадцатигранной nuts (an axis nut) by which the power shaft is fixed to a nave, it is not necessary to put the car with a total load on wheels and to shift it. REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a decorative cap of a wheel, at wheels from easy metal remove caps demountable hooks from the complete set of the onboard tool.
2. Loosen the двенадцатигранную a nut of a nave of a wheel at a drive shaft, without turning on it. Loosen the bolts of fastening of a wheel on the car standing on the earth. Lift a forward part of the car, put it on supports and remove a forward wheel.
ATTENTION Operation of lifting and car installation on supports is connected with danger! Therefore before operation carrying out familiarise with subsection of Poddomkrachivanie of the car.
	4. Mark a felt-tip pen position of bolts-1 spherical support or lead round them чертилкой. Otherwise at the subsequent installation it will be necessary to spend measurement and adjustment of a forward suspension bracket. Turn out bolts-1.
	5. If the drive shaft manually is not taken out from a nave, remove a shaft by means of a stripper. HUNDRED AUDI apply for this purpose stripper AUDI-3283.
ATTENTION Let's to a shaft hang, differently the internal hinge can be damaged as a result of an excess.
6. Turn out screws with an internal polyhedron for a drive shaft on a transmission flange. The insert under an internal polyhedron, for example, HAZET 990 Lg-8 is for this purpose necessary.
7. Cars with РКПП: Incline an amortisation rack outside and take out a shaft of a drive from the case of the bearing of a wheel.
Cars with АТ:
	8. Turn away fastening bolts (arrows on an illustration) support АТ to a unit beam.
	9. Insert mount between a beam of the unit and the block of cylinders and take away the block in a movement direction. Simultaneously, hinge Tripode of a shaft of a drive can be taken out.
INSTALLATION
10. Clear a brush teeths and a carving of a shaft of a drive and a nave of a rust and other pollution.
11. Fix a shaft on a check point. Tighten screws with an internal polyhedron cross-wise. The moment of an inhaling of a check point (the hinge of equal angular speeds): 40 Н m; АТ (hinge Tripode): 45 Н m.
12. Grease an adjoining surface двенадцатигранной nuts and teeths of the external hinge with pure impellent oil. Enter the external hinge into nave teeths how much it probably.
13. Fix шаровый the hinge on the lever. Establish fastening bolts in oval apertures so that earlier put marks have coincided. Tighten bolts the moment 20 Н m then tighten a rigid key on a corner 90 ° (1/4 turns). ATTENTION At installation in the new lever establish fastening bolts in average position and tighten. In summary measure disorder, address to subsection Corners of installation of forward wheels.
14. Establish the internal hinge of a shaft of a drive and tighten screws with an internal polyhedron. The inhaling moments: М8 40 Н m М10 80 Н m
15. Cars with АТ: Tighten bolts of fastening of a support of a check point to a beam of the unit the moment 25 Н m.
16. Enter the external hinge against the stop into the wheel bearing.
17. Tighten двенадцатигранную a nut the moment 300 Н m and then again turn away it on Ѕ a turn.
18. Tighten двенадцатигранную a nut the moment 50 Н•м, then tighten a rigid key on 45 ° (1/4 turns). ATTENTION Angular washer HAZET is necessary for an inhaling on a certain corner 6690. If such washer available is not present, двенадцатигранная the nut can be tightened as follows.
19. Lower the car so that wheels concerned the earths.
20. Tighten двенадцатигранную a nut the moment 300 Н m and again turn away it on Ѕ a turn.
21. Tighten двенадцатигранную a nut the moment 50 Н m.
	22. Mark one side of a nut (the marksman And on an illustration). The second marks (marksman) put on a nave edge through the following edge. Instructions: the Distance from one side to another makes 45 °.
23. Tighten двенадцатигранную a nut a key so that both marks have coincided.
