THE GENERAL DATA

Normal mode of movement

To start the engine. The lever should be in position P or N.

Keeping a foot a brake pedal, translate the lever in position D.

In position D there is an automatic choice of the most suitable transfer for traffic conditions, for example, for normal horizontal movement, for movement on lifting, at towage etc.
The prevention
At transfer inclusion it is forbidden to press a pedal throttle заслонки.

Release a manual brake and a brake pedal. Slowly press a pedal throttle заслонки, smoothly get under way from a place.

Braking by the engine
For braking by the engine transmission is switched to a hill-climbing gear as follows.

If speed of the car below maximum permissible for the second transfer translate the lever in position "2". Transmission will be switched to the second transfer.

If speed of the car below maximum permissible for position "L" translate the lever in position "L". Transmission will be switched to the first transfer and braking effect will increase.
The prevention
At switching on a hill-climbing gear on slippery road be extremely cautious. Sharp switching will lead to drift of the car or to proslipping of wheels.

Do not overload the engine. Watch a tachometre, do not suppose, that engine turns were in a red zone. Values of speed limit for each position of the lever are above resulted.
Do not suppose long movement on lifting in positions of the lever 2 or L, otherwise transmission will fail because of an overheat. At towage or for lifting overcoming translate the lever in position D.

Movement by a backing
Completely stop the car.

Having pressed a brake pedal, move the lever to position R.

It is forbidden to translate the lever in position R during car movement.

Parking

Completely stop the car.

Extend the lever of a manual brake to the full and put the car on a manual brake.

Having pressed a brake pedal, move the lever to River position
The prevention
Categorically it is forbidden to move the lever to position Р during car movement. Otherwise serious breakages and loss of controllability by the car are possible.
Councils about driving
Always on the working engine hold a foot on a brake pedal that will prevent slow movement of the car.

Do not try to keep the car on lifting by easy pressing a pedal throttle заслонки as the transmission overheat is possible. Use foot and manual brakes.
