1.1.31. Actions at a wheel puncture
THE GENERAL DATA

1. Reduce smoothly speed, without changing a movement direction. Curtail on a roadside, stop on an equal platform with a firm covering.

2. Stop the engine and include signals of an emergency stop.

3. Translate the lever in position Р (on automatic transmission) or include a backing (on mechanical transmission), put the car on a manual brake.

4. Ask passengers to leave the car.

5. Strictly observe following security measures at using a jack:

  – Operate according to the instruction applied on a jack;
  – A jack to use only for car lifting at wheel change;
  – It is forbidden to climb under the car when it is lifted on a jack;
  – It is forbidden to start the engine when the car is lifted on a jack.
