THE GENERAL DATA

Braking by the engine

For braking by the engine transmission is switched to a hill-climbing gear as follows.

Switch off the button of the switch of an automatic choice of a mode (this measure is effective, only if you move when the lever is in position D). The light index "O/D Off" Thus will light up and transmission will be switched to the third transfer.

Councils about driving

If at overcoming of flat lifting too frequent switching from 3rd transfer on 4th and on the contrary wring out the button of an automatic choice of a mode is observed. After lifting overcoming immediately press the button.

At trailer towing to use the button of an automatic choice of a mode it is not recommended for preservation of efficiency of braking.

In the rest instructions for use 4-speed transmission differ nothing from rules for 3-speed transmission (subsection 1.1.14 see).
