1.1.27. Actions at refusal of start-up of the engine
The elementary checks Before checks be convinced that the car is filled by fuel enough. If the car is equipped by system of coding of start of the engine (immobilizer) start the engine other keys from the complete set. If the engine is started, the reason is ignition key breakage. Check up a key in car-care centre service. If by means of other keys to start the engine it is not possible, address in car-care centre service as refusal of anticreeping system is possible. If the starter does not rotate the engine, or rotates poorly 1. Check up a condition of plugs of power cables, reliability of their fastening. 2. If a condition of plugs satisfactory include internal illumination. If lamps do not burn, or become dim (or die away) at starter inclusion the battery is discharged. In this case start the engine from the additional battery or if the car is equipped by a manual transmission and is absent каталитический neutralizer, the engine is supposed to be started car pushing. To start the diesel engine pushing at strongly discharged battery as a rule it is not possible. 3. If lamps do not die away, but the engine is not started, adjustment of the engine or repair is necessary. In this case address in car-care centre service for the qualified help. The starter rotates the engine with normal speed, but the engine is not started 1. Be convinced of reliability of fastening of all demountable connections of conducting (especially sockets on the distributor and fastening of wires to spark plugs). 2. If connections in a satisfactory condition a cause of a failure at start-up is reenrichment of a mix and filling of cylinders with gasoline. In this case be guided by following point. Start of the engine in case of overflow of cylinders by gasoline In default at start-up engine cylinders can be overflowed by gasoline because of repetition of unsuccessful attempts of start-up. |
