9.4.3. Coupling installation
THE GENERAL DATA

The prevention

At installation use a new lock ring for fastening of an end face of an entrance shaft of a transmission and a new lining for a cover in a transmission end face.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. The new knot of coupling is compressed by the clips established at factory. In the absence of clips fix coupling knot in a vice with soft sponges and establish clips which were used at coupling removal.
2. Check up that on an overlay of a disk of coupling and a surface of a press disk and a flywheel oil or other greasing has not got.
3. Wipe a surface of a flywheel and a press disk pure rags, and coupling installation make clean hands.
4. Grease шлицы naves of a disk of coupling with a thin layer of greasing on a basis дисульфида molybdenum.
5. Establish a coupling disk on a flywheel. Thus the smaller ledge of a nave of a disk of coupling should be directed to a flywheel.
6. Press a coupling disk to a flywheel and establish a leading part of coupling.
7. Move an entrance shaft of a transmission into a nave of a disk of coupling, thus the forward end of a shaft should enter into the bearing in an end face of a cranked shaft. At moving of a primary shaft of a transmission do not use a hammer or киянку as it can lead to transmission damage.
8. If manually it is impossible to move an entrance shaft of a transmission, use for this purpose the special tool № КМ-564. Also it is possible to use the tool made independently and used at removal of a shaft.
9. After installation of an entrance shaft in a coupling disk turn a leading part of coupling so that the label on a flywheel was combined with a groove in a coupling casing.
10. Screw in and gradually in diagonal sequence tighten six bolts of fastening of a leading part of coupling to a flywheel.
11. For screwing up of bolts of fastening of a leading part of coupling to a flywheel a wrench for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft turn a cranked shaft for consecutive access to fastening bolts.
12. Tighten all bolts of fastening by the demanded moment.
13. After pressing by the assistant to a pedal of coupling remove three clips from a leading part of coupling.
14. For removal of clips consistently turn a cranked shaft a wrench for a bolt of fastening of a pulley of a cranked shaft.
15. After removal of clips the assistant should release a coupling pedal.
16. Screw in a bolt in an end face of an entrance shaft of a transmission, then establish a new lock ring.
17. On early models screw in a stopper in a cover in a transmission end face.
18. On four-speed transmissions before ввинчиванием a carving stopper put on a stopper carving a thin layer of hermetic.
19. Tighten a stopper the demanded moment.

The prevention

At correctly established stopper it should not act from a cover surface in an end face of a transmission more than on 4 mm.


20. On later models in a transmission end face establish a cover with a new lining and fix bolts, having tightened their demanded moment.
21. Check up correctness of installation of a bolt, крепящего the grounding tyre.
22. Establish the tyre of grounding and fix a nut.
23. Establish a protective plate on the basis картера couplings and fix bolts.
24. Check up and, if necessary, adjust a coupling cable.
25. Lower the car on the earth and check up oil level in a transmission and, if necessary, finish it to norm.
