Check of level of oil of a mechanical transmission

At the left: the control carving stopper (1) mechanical transmissions is located in a movement direction on the right on half of height of the case of a transmission. The carving stopper of a drain aperture (2) is located below on a transmission.

On the right: level of a working liquid in a tank of the amplifier of a wheel (2) is necessary for checking at the working engine. If tank marks are not visible, it is necessary to turn off a cover of a tank (1) and to check up probeом. Arrows specify in marks.

In a transmission oil is not spent how in the engine, and can flow out only through defective consolidations. If on the transmission case outside it is not visible any dirty places impregnated with oil this point of checkup is finished. Otherwise it is necessary to check up oil level. The carving stopper jellied (and control) apertures is at the left in a movement direction on half of height of the case of a transmission near to a power shaft.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

The car to lift in horizontal position.
To turn out a stopper ключем with internal шестигранником 17 mm.
If трансмиссионное oil starts to follow at once, with its level everything is all right.
If is not present, it is necessary to push a finger in an aperture and to check up, whether gets aperture oil: sufficient level of oil.
At большей to shortage to add corresponding трансмиссионное oil on refuelling or in a workshop.

For check of level ATF to extend probe from the directing tube (3) located behind at the left in a motor compartment. At warm ATF liquid level should be in a normal range (1) between two marks. On the extension piece (2) it is possible to check up level and at cold ATF.

The help: autographic filling very viscous трансмиссионным oil by means of a funnel and a long hose even at the warmed-up oil represents considerable test of your patience and for this reason it is not recommended. It is better to use for доливки oils special canisters or a syringe with the built in hose.

Correct grade трансмиссионного oils

You do not need to reflect more on replacement трансмиссионного oils. The transfer mechanism is supplied by the tank from which possible impurity are caught by means of a magnet.

However трансмиссионное oil should correspond to certain requirements. Audi orders use of oil of a class of viscosity SAE 75 W-90 with specification G 50. It is a question of synthetic oil.
