Removal of air from hydrosystem of a drive of coupling

THE GENERAL DATA

Air is necessary for removing from hydrosystem of a drive of coupling, if coupling badly separates at transfer change, the coupling pedal comes back slowly or does not come back back or if the hydrosystem was opened.

As the coupling hydrosystem works on a brake liquid, it is necessary to read subsection Removal of air from brake system.
ATTENTION

The brake liquid is poisonous. At all do not suck away a liquid a mouth through a hose. A liquid store only in capacities, casual access in which is excluded.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Lift and establish the car on supports. Remove the bottom cover of an impellent compartment, thus address to subsection Removal and installation of the bottom cover of an impellent compartment.
2. Check up level of a brake liquid in the general tank. If necessary add to mark Max.
3. Remove dusterи from the union of removal of air on the working cylinder and on a forward left support.
4. Cautiously turn on and wrap the union.
5. Put on a transparent hose the union on a support.
6. Fill a hose with a brake liquid. For this purpose open the union on a support. Ask the assistant to press slowly a pedal of coupling and to press in this position. Close the union and release a pedal. Then the union open again and again press a coupling pedal. Repeat process until the hose will not be filled with a liquid. Press a hose a finger that the liquid did not pour out.
ATTENTION

Do not suppose too essential decrease in level of a liquid in the tank. Otherwise add a liquid....


7. Put on the free end of a hose the union of the working cylinder and open both unions.
8. Press a brake pedal, close the union on a support and release a brake pedal. Repeat this procedure so much time, how many it is necessary that in the tank there were no air bubbles. Thus constantly add a new liquid.
9. Close unions on a support and the working cylinder. Remove a hose and put on dusterи.
10. Lower the car on wheels.
11. Fill the tank with a brake liquid to mark Max.
12. Some times press a coupling pedal. Thus, it is possible to check up, whether the air which has remained in system is allocated in the tank.
13. Check up work of brake system and system of a drive of coupling.
ATTENTION

At the described process of removal of air it can remain in system. It can be defined on a characteristic sound at inclusion of transfer and to bad deenergizing of coupling. In this case it is necessary to remove air in conditions HUNDRED by means of the special device.


14. Establish the bottom cover of an impellent compartment, thus address to subsection Removal and installation of the bottom cover of an impellent compartment.
Removal of air by means of the special device

In conditions HUNDRED air from hydrosystem leaves by means of the special device. This device creates pressure in 2.5 bar on a brake liquid in the tank.
15. Turn away a stopper of the tank of a brake liquid. Fill in a liquid to mark Max. Attach the device according to the instruction, not including it.
16. Put on a hose the union of removal of air (the marksman on an accompanying illustration), for example, V.A.G 1238 B/3 the working cylinder (). The hose end lower in the capacity filled with a brake liquid or connect to capacity of the device for air removal.
17. Open the union and hold its opened until will stop to leave bubbles.
18. Some times press a coupling pedal.
19. Fill in a liquid in the tank to mark Max. Screw on the tank a stopper.
