3.2.3.3.2. Check and adjustment of limiting turns of the engine
THE DIESEL ENGINE 17D ТНВД type Bosch VE Adjustment procedure is resulted in subsection 6.3.8. Keep in mind that on ТНВД these engines the adjusting screw of limiting turns which is sealed up by a lead seal is provided. After adjustment the screw should be sealed tightly up, therefore the given procedure is recommended to be carried out in car-care centre Bosch. ТНВД type Lucas/CAV Limiting turns are regulated industrially by installation of the restrictive screw which appointment is described in subsection 6.3.8. It is the screw which is sealed up by a lead seal. While in service there is no necessity to regulate limiting turns.
