Adjustment of a lay brake
THE GENERAL DATA

ATTENTION

Owing to automatic installation of brakes of back wheels adjustment of a lay brake is not required. Adjustment of a lay brake is required only at replacement of its cable, back supports / directing.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Strongly press a brake pedal. On a pedal strong resistance should be felt.
2. Release a lay brake.
3. Remove an ashtray in a back part of the central console. The adjusting nut (an arrow on an illustration) is on the brake lever.
ATTENTION

If it is necessary to replace cables of a lay brake, remove facing from the lever of a brake and remove a back part of the central console, address to subsection Removal and installation of the central console.

4. Press three times the lever of a lay brake (the effort makes about 30 kg), then again release. It is necessary for installation of elements of a brake.
5. Mark a paint position of back wheels concerning naves. It will allow to establish at assemblage отбалансированные wheels in its former position. Loosen the bolts of fastening of a wheel at the car standing on the earth. Lift a forward part of the car, put it on supports and remove back wheels.
6. At the released lever of a lay brake tighten an adjusting nut on the lever so that levers (an arrow on an illustration) on supports have departed from an emphasis. If necessary check up probeом – 1. The distance from the lever to a support (marksman) on both parties should not exceed 1.5 mm.
7. Check up, that at the released lever both naves of back wheels freely rotated.
8. Establish into place back wheels so that the marks put at removal have coincided. Preliminary grease with a thin layer подшипниковой greasings aligning belt of a disk of a wheel on a nave. Wrap bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts a cross - crosswise the moment 120 Н•м.
9. Insert an ashtray into the central console.
