Convergence adjustment is made by rotation of steering draughts necessarily on both parties of the car. Tips of steering draughts should not have люфтов. Turn away a nut of fastening of a tip of steering draught and curtail it till the end of a carving. It serves as a support for a stripper.–1 – the tip of the gauge of number of turns ABS. |
| 3. Wring out a pin of a tip of steering draught from the pendular lever a usual stripper (), for example, Hazet 779. |
| 4. Turn away a counternut–2 tips of steering draught, address to an illustration Steering draughts and tips of draughts. | | 5. Turn away a tip of steering draught, having counted thus number of turns which are necessary for the subsequent assemblage. | | 6. Cut collars on a protective cover. | 1. Replace steering draught or a tip. | | 2. Screw a tip of steering draught on number of the turns, written down at removal and fix by hand a counternut. | | 3. Fix steering draught the moment 75 Н•м to the steering mechanism, keeping from проворачивания a wrench. | | 4. Establish a protective cover into position. It should not be overwound in no event, as is shown in an illustration and should not have damages. |
| 5. Fix a protective cover new collars. Clamp collars nippers V.A.G 1275 or other corresponding tool, for example, HAZET 1847–1. |
| 6. Insert steering draught into the pendular lever on the case of the bearing of a wheel and tighten a new self-stopped nut the moment 45 Н•м. | | 7. Fix a counternut of a tip of steering draught the moment 50 Н•м. | | 8. Establish into place a forward wheel so that the marks put at removal have coincided. Preliminary grease with a thin layer подшипниковой greasings aligning belt of a disk of a wheel on a nave. Bolts of fastening of a wheel do not grease. Rusty bolts replace. Wrap bolts. Lower the car on wheels and tighten bolts cross-wise the moment 120 Н•м. | | 9. Check up a convergence of wheels. | |
