Check of the relay of the fuel pump

THE GENERAL DATA

The relay of the fuel pump is in a relay payment, a place 4, on the party of the driver under the block of the panel of devices. It is necessary for checking up, if the pump does not work.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

	1. Take out a safety lock № 28 fuel pumps.
2. Attach диодную a control lamp by means of an auxiliary wire between weight and one of two contacts of a safety lock of the fuel pump.
3. Remove the top facing around feet of the driver, at the left, thus address to subsection Removal and pocket installation from outside the driver.
4. Include a starter. Inclusion of the relay of the fuel pump should be audible. диодная the control lamp Besides, should light up.
5. If the relay does not join, check up pressure of a food and management.
6. If диодная a control lamp does not light up, though the relay joins, repeat check on other contact of a safety lock.
7. If диодная the control lamp again does not burn, check up a wire between contact 23 at the relay, a place 4, and a safety lock of the fuel pump. In the presence of breakage eliminate it.
8. If a relay food, management and relay wires is perfectly in order, replace the relay of the fuel pump.
Food check
	Take out the relay of the fuel pump from a relay payment (a relay place № 4).
Include ignition.
Consistently attach the voltmeter: – Between contact 19 (plus of the lock of ignition) and weight; – Between contact 17 (plus of the storage battery) and weight. Demanded value: 12 In (pressure of the battery). Otherwise check up wire breakage under the electric scheme and eliminate.
Switch off ignition.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Attach диодную a control lamp with an auxiliary wire between contact 16 (weight of management from a monitor the engine) and contact 17 (plus) of a socle of the relay.
