Steering and suspension bracket
|
1. Try to reveal any sort the unusual sensations arising at driving. Estimate course stability of a vehicle.
2. Pay attention to unusual noise and the vibrations arising during movement and published by components of a suspension bracket and a steering drive.
3. Estimate controllability of the car - the steering wheel should rotate freely, without excessive люфта and jerks. The suspension bracket during fulfilment of turns and movement on roughnesses of a road covering should not publish any extraneous noise. |

Transmissionnaja line

1. Try to estimate efficiency of return of the engine and quality of transfer of rotation by components of coupling, a transmission and power shafts.

3. Check up stability of single turns of the engine. Estimate stability of turns during an acceleration.
4. On models with РКПП make sure of smoothness and noiselessness of operation of coupling. The pedal course should not be excessive, and its squeezing to lead to occurrence of extraneous sounds. Make sure of ease and noiselessness of inclusion of all transfers - the control lever should move freely, without jerks and закусываний.
5. On models with АТ make sure of serviceability of functioning of the lever of the selector and adequacy of switching of a box.
6. Listen to the sounds which are starting with a forward part of the car at a slow movement in a circle with a steering wheel turned out against the stop. Check should be made for both directions of turn of wheels. Presence of a metal gnash will testify to deterioration of hinges of equal angular speeds (SHRUS) of power shafts. In case of revealing of signs of deterioration the defective SHRUS is subject to replacement (Power shafts see the Head). |

Check of serviceability of operation and efficiency of functioning of brakes
|
1. Make sure of preservation of course stability of the car during braking. Sharp braking should not cause premature blocking of wheels.
2. Make sure of absence of occurrence of vibrations in a steering wheel during car braking.
3. Check up serviceability of functioning of a lay brake. The car should be kept reliably on a bias even at moderate raising of the lever. |
