Removal and generator installation

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Loosen the a belt of a drive of auxiliary units (address to the Head Routine maintenance) and throw off it from a generator pulley.

3. At a corresponding complete set remove protective rubber caps from generator plugs, then release клеммные nuts and disconnect electroconducting from a back part of the generator.

4. Give a bolt/nut of fastening of the generator to the top basic arm. Pay attention that if for generator fastening the long through bolt there is no necessity for its full reversing is used: will weaken only it enough. On some models for the purpose of providing of access to generator fixture it is necessary to remove an intermediate pulley / a tension roller drive a belt.

5. On diesel models take clamps of fastening of a filter of a cover and remove last for the purpose of providing of access to the top fixing bolt.

6. Remove the generator from basic arms and take it from an impellent compartment.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down. Track correctness of a lining and tension adjustment drive a belt (address to the Head Routine maintenance). Make sure of reliability of a tightening of fixture of the generator and its basic arms.
