The design of the water pumps used on cars considered in the present Management, is shown on illustrations.

On 4-cylinder engines (model 2.0 and 2.5) the water pump is established in a forward part of the left semiblock of cylinders and put in action газораспределительным by a belt. In an inlet branch pipe in the bottom part of pump assemblage the thermostat is built in. At rotation of rotors of the pump the cooling liquid is soaked up in the working chamber through connected with радиаторным a hose the bottom tube, passing thus through the thermostat. Further, moving on rotor perimetre, it is pushed out in a working contour of system of the cooling which configuration is defined by position of the valve of the thermostat.

On 6-cylinder engines (model 3.0) the water pump is placed in a casing generated by a back cover of drive ГРМ. As a sealing element between the case of the pump and a casing the rubber ring is established. The pump drive is carried out from газораспределительной chains. Rotor rotation in the volume chamber of the pump provides liquid giving in a contour охладительного an engine path. The pump case is made of aluminium by a moulding method under pressure, a rotor - from a sheet steel. The rotor shaft is fixed in two bearings (ball and roller) and condensed from the oil party by means of an epiploon. The volume chamber is generated by deepenings in a back cover of drive ГРМ and the top section of the pallet картера. Between a cover and the pallet the metal sealing lining is established.

For consolidation of both pump assemblages of from outside cooling liquid the mechanical sealing knot consisting of a ceramic saddle, rotor densely planted on a shaft and a coal epiploon is used. The knot is built in pump assemblage and to service in an individual order is not subject.
