 At the hot engine the fan of system of cooling can be activated at any moment, - observe extreme care!


The principle of functioning of fans of system of cooling is described in Section of the Detail of installation and a principle of functioning of fans of system of cooling.

Electric schemes of connection of the main fan of system of cooling for various models are presented on illustrations.

The main fan

CHECK

Models 2.0 and 2.5 l

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Step 1 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the fan)

 Try not to admit engine overheating!

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from drive the electromotor of the main fan. Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature (95°С).
2. Muffle the engine, then turn a key in the ignition lock in position ON and measure pressure on the plug № 2 (+) socket F17 of the main fan (the second wire of the voltmeter earth on weight of the chassis). If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 2, otherwise execute check of the Step 5.

Step 2 (Check of a condition of grounding of the fan)

Switch off ignition and measure resistance between the plug № 1 socket F17 of the fan and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 5 Ohm, pass to the Step 3, otherwise find and eliminate breakage in a grounding chain.

Step 3 (Quality check of contact connections)

Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact socket F17 of the fan. In case of need make corresponding corrections. If plugs are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 4.

Step 4 (condition Check drive the fan electromotor)

Connect the battery directly to contact socket F17 of the electromotor (a positive pole to the plug № 2, negative - to the plug № 1). If the fan starts to rotate, check up a condition of a contact socket, otherwise replace the electromotor.

Step 5 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the fan relay)

1. Switch off ignition and take the relay of the main fan from the holder in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V.
2. Measure pressure between the plug № 7 (+) socket F66 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 6, otherwise execute check of the Step 7.

Step 6 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the fan relay)


Include ignition (the engine do not start) and measure pressure between the plug № 5 (+) socket F66 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 10, otherwise execute check of the Step 9.

Step 7 (condition Check 20-ampernyh safety locks)

Take safety locks from the assembly block of the relay of system K/V. Fused safety lock replace. If safety locks are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 8.

Step 8 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food to plugs 20-ampernyh safety locks)

Measure pressure between the plug № 1 (+) socket F27 in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, check up a chain site between a safety lock and the relay of the main fan on breakage, otherwise check up on breakage a chain site between a safety lock and a socket of the main assembly block.

Step 9 (Check of a safety lock 18)

Switch off ignition, take from the landing nest a safety lock № 18 and visually estimate its condition. Fused safety lock replace. If the safety lock is perfectly in order, check up on breakage a chain site between the relay of the main fan and the ignition switch.

Step 10 (Check of a condition of the relay of the main fan)


Switch off ignition and measure resistance between plugs №№ 7 and 8 relays. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to the Step 11, otherwise replace the relay.

Step 11 (Check of a condition of the relay of the main fan)

Connect the battery to plugs №№ 6 and 5 relays, then repeat check of the Step 10. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 12, otherwise replace the relay.

Step 12 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay of the main fan and a socket drive the electromotor)

Measure resistance between the plug № 2 sockets F17 and the plug № 8 sockets F66. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 13, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 13 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay of the main fan and ECM)

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from the engine management module (ECM).
2. Measure resistance between the plug № 6 sockets F66 and the plug № 3 sockets В134. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 14, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 14 (Quality check of contact connections)


Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact sockets of a plait of the electroconducting connecting the main fan with ECM. Make necessary corrections. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, address for the help to experts firm HUNDRED Subaru.

L models 3.0

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Step 1 (Check of serviceability of functioning of the fan)

1. Start the engine on single turns.
2. Include К/В in a mode maximum хладопроизводительности (check should be made at temperature of a cooling liquid more low 95°С). If at compressor K/V operation the main fan rotates with average turns, pass to the Step 2, otherwise execute check of the Step 4.

Step 2 (Check of serviceability of functioning of the fan)

Switch off К/В and wait while the engine will get warm to normal working temperature (above 95°С). If at compressor operation the main fan rotates with small turns, pass to the Step 3, otherwise execute check of the Step 18.

Step 3 (Check of serviceability of functioning of the fan)


Include К/В in a mode maximum хладопроизводительности, - the serviceable fan at compressor operation will rotate with high turns. If the given condition is not carried out, pass to the Step 31.

Step 4 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the fan)

 Try not to admit engine overheating!

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from drive the electromotor of the main fan. The remark: Check should be made at temperature of a cooling liquid more low 95°С.
2. Include К/В on maximum хладопроизводительность and at the moment of compressor operation measure pressure on the plug № 2 (+) socket F17 of the main fan (the second wire of the voltmeter earth on weight of the chassis). If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 5, otherwise execute check of the Step 8.

Step 5 (Check of a condition of grounding of the fan)


Switch off ignition and measure resistance between the plug № 4 sockets F17 of the fan and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 5 Ohm, pass to the Step 6, otherwise find and eliminate breakage in a grounding chain.

Step 6 (Quality check of contact connections)

Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact socket F17 of the fan. In case of need make corresponding corrections. If plugs are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 7.

Step 7 (condition Check drive the fan electromotor)

Connect the battery directly to contact socket F17 of the electromotor (a positive pole to the plug № 2, negative - to the plug № 4). If the fan starts to rotate, check up a condition of a contact socket, otherwise replace the electromotor.

Step 8 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the relay 2 fans)

1. Switch off ignition and take the relay 2 main fans from the holder in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V.
2. Measure pressure between the plug № 18 (+) socket F30 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 9, otherwise execute check of the Step 10.

Step 9 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the relay 2 fans)

Include ignition (the engine do not start) and measure pressure between the plug № 20 (+) socket F30 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 13, otherwise execute check of the Step 12.

Step 10 (condition Check 30-ampernogo a safety lock)

Take corresponding 30-ampernyj a safety lock from the assembly block of the relay of system K/V. Fused safety lock replace. If safety locks are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 11.

Step 11 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food to plugs 30-ampernogo a safety lock)

Measure pressure between the plug № 1 (+) socket F27 in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, check up a chain site between a safety lock and the relay 2 main fans on breakage, otherwise check up on breakage a chain site between a safety lock and a socket of the main assembly block.

Step 12 (Check of a safety lock 18)

Switch off ignition, take from the landing nest a safety lock № 18 and visually estimate its condition. Fused safety lock replace. If the safety lock is perfectly in order, check up on breakage a chain site between the relay 2 main fans and the ignition switch.

Step 13 (Check of a condition of the relay 2 main fans)

Switch off ignition and measure resistance between plugs №№ 17 and 18 relays. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to the Step 14, otherwise replace the relay 2.

Step 14 (Check of a condition of the relay 2 main fans)

Connect the battery to plugs №№ 19 and 20 relays, then repeat check of the Step 13. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 15, otherwise replace the relay 2.

Step 15 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay 2 main fans and a socket drive the electromotor)

Measure resistance between the plug № 2 sockets F17 and the plug № 17 sockets F30. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 16, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 16 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay 2 main fans and ECM)

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from the engine management module (ECM).
2. Measure resistance between the plug № 19 sockets F30 and the plug № 17 sockets В137. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 17, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 17 (Quality check of contact connections)

Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact sockets of a plait of the electroconducting connecting the main fan with ECM. Make necessary corrections. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, address for the help to experts firm HUNDRED Subaru.

Step 18 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the fan)

 Try not to admit engine overheating!

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from drive the electromotor of the main fan. The remark: Check should be made at temperature of a cooling liquid more low 95°С.
2. Include К/В on maximum хладопроизводительность and at the moment of compressor operation measure pressure on the plug № 1 (+) socket F17 of the main fan (the second wire of the voltmeter earth on weight of the chassis). If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 19, otherwise execute check of the Step 21.

Step 19 (Quality check of contact connections)


Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact socket F17 of the fan. In case of need make corresponding corrections. If plugs are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 20.

Step 20 (condition Check drive the fan electromotor)

Connect the battery directly to contact socket F17 of the electromotor (a positive pole to the plug № 1, negative - to the plug № 4). If the fan starts to rotate, check up a condition of a contact socket, otherwise replace the electromotor.

Step 21 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the relay of 1 fan)

1. Switch off ignition and take the relay of 1 main fan from the holder in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V.
2. Measure pressure between the plug № 7 (+) socket F66 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 22, otherwise execute check of the Step 23.

Step 22 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the relay of 1 fan)

Include ignition (the engine do not start) and measure pressure between the plug № 5 (+) socket F66 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 26, otherwise execute check of the Step 25.

Step 23 (condition Check 30-ampernogo a safety lock)


Take corresponding 30-ampernyj a safety lock from the assembly block of the relay of system K/V. Fused safety lock replace. If safety locks are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 24.

Step 24 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food to plugs 30-ampernogo a safety lock)

Measure pressure between the plug № 1 (+) socket F27 in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, check up a chain site between a safety lock and the relay of 1 main fan on breakage, otherwise check up on breakage a chain site between a safety lock and a socket of the main assembly block.

Step 25 (Check of a safety lock 18)

Switch off ignition, take from the landing nest a safety lock № 18 and visually estimate its condition. Fused safety lock replace. If the safety lock is perfectly in order, check up on breakage a chain site between the relay of 1 main fan and the ignition switch.

Step 26 (Check of a condition of the relay of 1 main fan)


Switch off ignition and measure resistance between plugs №№ 7 and 8 relays. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to the Step 27, otherwise replace the relay 1.

Step 27 (Check of a condition of the relay of 1 main fan)


Connect the battery to plugs №№ 5 and 6 relays, then repeat check of the Step 26. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 28, otherwise replace the relay 1.

Step 28 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay of 1 main fan and a socket drive the electromotor)


Measure resistance between the plug № 1 socket F17 and the plug № 8 sockets F66. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 29, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 29 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay of 1 main fan and ECM)

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from the engine management module (ECM).
2. Measure resistance between the plug № 6 sockets F66 and the plug № 28 sockets В137. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 30, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 30 (Quality check of contact connections)

Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact sockets of a plait of the electroconducting connecting the main fan with ECM. Make necessary corrections. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, address for the help to experts firm HUNDRED Subaru.

Step 31 (Check of a condition of electroconducting on a chain site between the electromotor of the fan and weight of the chassis)

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from the main fan of system of cooling.
2. Measure resistance between the plug № 3 sockets F17 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 5 Ohm, pass to the Step 32, otherwise execute check of the Step 33.

Step 32 (Quality check of contact connections)

Visually estimate a condition of plugs of a contact socket of the fan. Make necessary corrections. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, replace the electromotor.

Step 33 (Check of a condition of electroconducting on a chain site between the main fan and the fan relay)

Disunite a contact socket of the relay and measure resistance between the plug № 3 socket F17 of the electromotor and the plug № 5 sockets В253 the relay. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 34, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 34 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food to the fan relay)


Include ignition and measure pressure between the plug № 1 (+) socket В253 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 36, otherwise execute check of the Step 35.

Step 35 (Check of a safety lock 18)

Switch off ignition, take from the landing nest a safety lock № 18 and visually estimate its condition. Fused safety lock replace. If the safety lock is perfectly in order, check up on breakage a chain site between the relay of the fan and the ignition switch.

Step 36 (Check of the relay of the fan)

Switch off ignition, take the relay and measure resistance between its plugs №№ 4 and 5. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 37, otherwise replace the relay.

Step 37 (Check of the relay of the fan)

Connect the battery to plugs №№ 1 and 3 relays and repeat check of the Step 36. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 38, otherwise replace the relay.

Step 38 (Check of serviceability of grounding of the relay)

Measure resistance between the plug № 4 sockets В253 the relay and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 39, otherwise eliminate breakage in a grounding chain.

Step 39 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between the relay of the fan and ECM)

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from the engine management module (ECM).
2. Measure resistance between the plug № 3 sockets В253 and the plug № 24 sockets В137. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 40, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 40 (Quality check of contact connections)


Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact sockets of a chain on a site between the relay and ECM. Make necessary corrections. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, address for the help to experts firm HUNDRED Subaru.


Removal, service and installation

REMOVAL

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Поддомкратьте the car also establish it on props.
3. Remove protection картера.
4. Disconnect electroconducting from the electromotor of a drive of the main fan, on l models 3.0 disconnect also electroconducting from the auxiliary fan.

5. Lower the car on the earth.
6. Remove an air inlet (see Has undressed Service of components of an inlet air path).
7. Disconnect переливной a hose.

8. Remove a broad tank of system of cooling.

9. On l models 3.0 disconnect from a radiator inlet hoses.

10. On models 2.0 and 2.5 l turn out fixing bolts and remove assemblage of the main fan.

11. On l models 3.0 remove at first the auxiliary fan, then, having shifted on released after removal of the auxiliary fan a place assemblage of the main fan, lift it and take from an impellent compartment.


Dismantling and assemblage

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. By means of nippers release a clamp of fastening of a contact socket drive the electromotor on a casing вентиляторной assemblages.

2. Release a fastening nut крыльчатки.


3. Turn out fixing bolts/screws and remove the electromotor of a drive of the fan from a casing.

4. Assemblage is made upside-down. Track, that all fixture has been tightened with demanded effort (Specifications and accompanying illustrations to the given subsection see).

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Step 1 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the fan)

 Try not to admit engine overheating!

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from drive the electromotor of the auxiliary fan. Start the engine and warm up it to normal working temperature (100°С).
2. Muffle the engine, then turn a key in the ignition lock in position ON and measure pressure on the plug № 2 (+) socket F16 of the auxiliary fan (the second wire of the voltmeter earth on weight of the chassis). If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 2, otherwise execute check of the Step 5.

Step 2 (Check of a condition of grounding of the fan)


Switch off ignition and measure resistance between the plug № 1 socket F16 of the fan and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 5 Ohm, pass to the Step 3, otherwise find and eliminate breakage in a grounding chain.

Step 3 (Quality check of contact connections)


Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact socket F16 of the fan. In case of need make corresponding corrections. If plugs are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 4.

Step 4 (condition Check drive the fan electromotor)

Connect the battery directly to contact socket F16 of the electromotor (a positive pole to the plug № 2, negative - to the plug № 1) (see an illustration 8.7). If the fan starts to rotate, check up a condition of a contact socket, otherwise replace the electromotor.

Step 5 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the fan relay)

1. Switch off ignition and take the relay of the auxiliary fan from the holder in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V.
2. Measure pressure between the plug № 18 (+) socket F28 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 6, otherwise execute check of the Step 7.

Step 6 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the fan relay)

Include ignition (the engine do not start) and measure pressure between the plug № 20 (+) socket F28 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 10, otherwise execute check of the Step 9.

Step 7 (condition Check 20-ampernyh safety locks)


Take safety locks from the assembly block of the relay of system K/V. Fused safety lock replace. If safety locks are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 8.

Step 8 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food to plugs 20-ampernyh safety locks)

Measure pressure between the plug № 3 (+) socket F27 in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, check up a chain site between a safety lock and the relay of the auxiliary fan on breakage, otherwise check up on breakage a chain site between a safety lock and a socket of the main assembly block.

Step 9 (Check of a safety lock 17)


Switch off ignition, take from the landing nest a safety lock № 17 and visually estimate its condition. Fused safety lock replace. If the safety lock is perfectly in order, check up on breakage a chain site between the relay of the auxiliary fan and the ignition switch.

Step 10 (Check of a condition of the relay of the auxiliary fan)

Switch off ignition and measure resistance between plugs №№ 17 and 18 relays. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to the Step 11, otherwise replace the relay.

Step 11 (Check of a condition of the relay of the auxiliary fan)


Connect the battery to plugs №№ 20 and 19 relays, then repeat check of the Step 10. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 12, otherwise replace the relay.

Step 12 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay of the auxiliary fan and a socket drive the electromotor)

Measure resistance between the plug № 2 sockets F16 and the plug № 17 sockets F28. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 13, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 13 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay of the auxiliary fan and ECM)

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from the engine management module (ECM).
2. Measure resistance between the plug № 19 sockets F28 and the plug № 12 sockets В134. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 14, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 14 (Quality check of contact connections)

Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact sockets of a plait of the electroconducting connecting the auxiliary fan with ECM. Make necessary corrections. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, address for the help to experts firm HUNDRED Subaru.


L models 3.0

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

Step 1 (Check of serviceability of functioning of the fan)

1. Start the engine on single turns.
2. Include К/В in a mode maximum хладопроизводительности (check should be made at temperature of a cooling liquid more low 95°С). If at compressor K/V operation the auxiliary fan rotates with average turns, pass to the Step 2, otherwise execute check of the Step 4.

Step 2 (Check of serviceability of functioning of the fan)

Switch off К/В and wait while the engine will get warm to normal working temperature (above 95°С). If at compressor operation the auxiliary fan rotates with small turns, pass to the Step 3, otherwise execute check of the Step 18.

Step 3 (Check of serviceability of functioning of the fan)


Include К/В in a mode maximum хладопроизводительности, - the serviceable fan at compressor operation will rotate with high turns. If the given condition is not carried out, pass to the Step 31.

Step 4 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the fan)

 Try not to admit engine overheating!

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from drive the electromotor of the auxiliary fan.

 Check should be made at temperature of a cooling liquid more low 95°С.

2. Include К/В on maximum хладопроизводительность and at the moment of compressor operation measure pressure on the plug № 2 (+) socket F16 of the auxiliary fan (the second wire of the voltmeter earth on weight of the chassis). If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 5, otherwise execute check of the Step 8.

Step 5 (Check of a condition of grounding of the fan)

Switch off ignition and measure resistance between the plug № 4 sockets F16 of the fan and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 5 Ohm, pass to the Step 6, otherwise find and eliminate breakage in a grounding chain.

Step 6 (Quality check of contact connections)

Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact socket F16 of the fan. In case of need make corresponding corrections. If plugs are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 7.

Step 10 (condition Check 30-ampernogo a safety lock)

Take corresponding 30-ampernyj a safety lock from the assembly block of the relay of system K/V. Fused safety lock replace. If safety locks are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 11.

Step 11 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food to plugs 30-ampernogo a safety lock)

Measure pressure between the plug № 3 (+) socket F27 in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, check up a chain site between a safety lock and the relay 2 auxiliary fans on breakage, otherwise check up on breakage a chain site between a safety lock and a socket of the main assembly block.

Step 12 (Check of a safety lock 18)

Switch off ignition, take from the landing nest a safety lock № 18 and visually estimate its condition. Fused safety lock replace. If the safety lock is perfectly in order, check up on breakage a chain site between the relay 2 auxiliary fans and the ignition switch.

Step 13 (Check of a condition of the relay 2 auxiliary fans)

Switch off ignition and measure resistance between plugs №№ 25 and 26 relays. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to the Step 14, otherwise replace the relay 2.

Step 14 (Check of a condition of the relay 2 auxiliary fans)


Connect the battery to plugs №№ 27 and 28 relays, then repeat check of the Step 13. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 15, otherwise replace the relay 2.

Step 15 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay 2 auxiliary fans and a socket drive the electromotor)

Measure resistance between the plug № 2 sockets F16 and the plug № 25 sockets F29. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 16, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 16 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay 2 auxiliary fans and ECM)

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from the engine management module (ECM).
2. Measure resistance between the plug № 27 sockets F29 and the plug № 17 sockets В137. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 17, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 17 (Quality check of contact connections)


Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact sockets of a plait of the electroconducting connecting the auxiliary fan with ECM. Make necessary corrections. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, address for the help to experts firm HUNDRED Subaru.

Step 18 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the fan)

 Try not to admit engine overheating!

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from drive the electromotor of the auxiliary fan.

 Check should be made at temperature of a cooling liquid more low 95°С.

2. Include К/В on maximum хладопроизводительность and at the moment of compressor operation measure pressure on the plug № 1 (+) socket F16 of the auxiliary fan (the second wire of the voltmeter earth on weight of the chassis). If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 19, otherwise execute check of the Step 21.

Step 19 (Quality check of contact connections)


Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact socket F16 of the fan. In case of need make corresponding corrections. If plugs are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 20.

Step 20 (condition Check drive the fan electromotor)


Connect the battery directly to contact socket F16 of the electromotor (a positive pole to the plug № 1, negative - to the plug № 4). If the fan starts to rotate, check up a condition of a contact socket, otherwise replace the electromotor.

Step 21 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the relay of 1 fan)


1. Switch off ignition and take the relay of 1 auxiliary fan from the holder in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V.
2. Measure pressure between the plug № 23 (+) socket F28 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 22, otherwise execute check of the Step 23.

Step 22 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food on the relay of 1 fan)


Include ignition (the engine do not start) and measure pressure between the plug № 21 (+) socket F28 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, pass to the Step 26, otherwise execute check of the Step 25.

Step 23 (condition Check 30-ampernogo a safety lock)

Take corresponding 30-ampernyj a safety lock from the assembly block of the relay of system K/V. Fused safety lock replace. If safety locks are perfectly in order, pass to the Step 24.

Step 24 (Check of serviceability of giving of a food to plugs 30-ampernogo a safety lock)

Measure pressure between the plug № 3 (+) socket F27 in the assembly block of the relay of system K/V and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes more than 10 In, check up a chain site between a safety lock and the relay of 1 auxiliary fan on breakage, otherwise check up on breakage a chain site between a safety lock and a socket of the main assembly block.

Step 25 (Check of a safety lock 18)

Switch off ignition, take from the landing nest a safety lock № 18 and visually estimate its condition. Fused safety lock replace. If the safety lock is perfectly in order, check up on breakage a chain site between the relay of 1 auxiliary fan and the ignition switch.

Step 26 (Check of a condition of the relay of 1 auxiliary fan)

Switch off ignition and measure resistance between plugs №№ 23 and 24 relays. If the result of measurement makes more than 1 МОм, pass to the Step 27, otherwise replace the relay 1.

Step 27 (Check of a condition of the relay of 1 auxiliary fan)

Connect the battery to plugs №№ 21 and 22 relays, then repeat check of the Step 26. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 28, otherwise replace the relay 1.

Step 28 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay of 1 auxiliary fan and a socket drive the electromotor)

Measure resistance between the plug № 1 socket F16 and the plug № 24 sockets F28. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 29, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 29 (Check of a condition of electroconducting between plugs of the relay of 1 auxiliary fan and ECM)

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from the engine management module (ECM).
2. Measure resistance between the plug № 22 sockets F28 and the plug № 28 sockets В137. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 30, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.

Step 30 (Quality check of contact connections)


Visually estimate a condition of plugs of contact sockets of a plait of the electroconducting connecting the auxiliary fan with ECM. Make necessary corrections. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, address for the help to experts firm HUNDRED Subaru.

Step 31 (Check of a condition of electroconducting on a chain site between the electromotor of the fan and weight of the chassis)

1. Switch off ignition and disconnect electroconducting from the auxiliary fan of system of cooling.
2. Measure resistance between the plug № 3 sockets F16 and weight of the chassis. If the result of measurement makes less than 5 Ohm, pass to the Step 32, otherwise execute check of the Step 33.

Step 32 (Quality check of contact connections)

Visually estimate a condition of plugs of a contact socket of the fan. Make necessary corrections. If electroconducting is perfectly in order, replace the electromotor.

Step 33 (Check of a condition of electroconducting on a chain site between the auxiliary fan and the fan relay)

Disunite a contact socket of the relay and measure resistance between the plug № 3 socket F16 of the electromotor and the plug № 5 sockets В253 the relay. If the result of measurement makes less than 1 Ohm, pass to the Step 34, otherwise eliminate electroconducting breakage.
