Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect the battery from weight. 2. Remove the bottom guard of the engine. 3. Remove a casing and the fan. 4. Merge a liquid and remove a radiator. 5. Remove belts of the generator and the hydraulic booster pump. 6. Disconnect from candles wires. 7. Lift car redock, block back wheels. 8. On engines of 3,0 l turn out hairpins from a branch pipe of a cooling liquid. 9. On engines of 3,4 l remove the pump of the hydraulic booster and take aside. 10. Remove the conditioner compressor (subsection 4.13 see). 11. Turn out candles. 12. Remove the top cover of a belt and a lining. On engines of 3,4 l remove a nave of the fan and an arm. 13. Establish the piston of 1st cylinder in ВМТ a compression step. 14. Check up presence of adjusting labels on a gear belt. If necessary put labels. 15. Be convinced of combination of labels on a cam-shaft gear wheel (at the left – labels on the engine of 3,0 l, on the right – labels on the engine 3,4). 16. Remove натяжитель and a cover (at the left – натяжитель a gear belt on the engine of 3,0 l, on the right – натяжитель a gear belt on the engine of 3,4 l, are specified by arrows bolts натяжителя). 17. If the gear belt does not vary, designate labels its position on an asterisk of a cam-shaft of final valves. 18. Remove a gear belt from cam-shaft asterisks. 19. Examine asterisks of cam-shafts, if necessary replace. For this purpose uncover (covers) and keeping a cam-shaft a key for лыски, turn away a bolt and remove an asterisk. 20. Remove a roller натяжителя N 2. 21. Turn away a bolt коленвала, having fixed (marksman) a flywheel wreath (or keeping a bolt of a disk of the hydrotransformer). 22. Once again check up combination of labels ВМТ on a pulley коленвала and a motionless scale. 23. Remove a pulley by hand or by means of two screw-drivers, operating as with levers. 24. Remove the bottom cover of a belt and a lining. On engines of 3,4 l preliminary remove a fan arm. 25. Remove a belt from a leading asterisk. 26. Remove a roller натяжителя N1. 27. Check up label presence on a belt opposite to deepening in a leading asterisk, if necessary put a new label (if the belt does not vary). 28. If necessary remove a leading asterisk by hand or by means of two screw-drivers, operating as with levers.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up a belt condition. In the presence of cracks, anguishes, the cuts, the cut off teeths or if has expired operation term, a belt replace. 2. Check up потеков oils on натяжителе. The epiploon натяжителя is serviceable if weak traces from oil from outside плунжера are observed only. 3. Check up a course плунжера, having rested it against a motionless surface. If плунжер it is displaced, натяжитель replace. 4. Check up выступание плунжера натяжителя. If выступание differs from normal натяжитель replace. 5. Check up freedom of rotation of rollers натяжителя.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Clear a forward part of the engine. 2. On engines of 3,0 l combine labels on a wreath of a leading asterisk and on the case of the oil pump. Establish a leading asterisk so that фланцевая the part has been turned towards the engine. 3. On engines of 3,4 l do not damage an insert of the gauge of rotation коленвала on a leading asterisk. Check up combination of the specified labels. 4. Establish a roller натяжителя belt N 1, having greased 2–3 threads of a carving of a bolt натяжителя with frictional structure. Tighten a bolt with the set moment. 5. Dress a gear belt, having got it on a leading asterisk. If the removed belt combine labels on a belt, asterisks and the covers, put at removal is established. 6. Dress on коленвал directing cup, having turned its convex surface towards the engine. 7. Dress a pulley коленвала and tighten a bolt with the set moment, keeping коленвал (marksman). 8. Establish the top roller натяжителя. Tighten a bolt and check up freedom of rotation of a roller. 9. Establish an asterisk of the left cam-shaft фланцевой a part outside, having combined an aperture in an asterisk with a cam-shaft pin. 10. Tighten a bolt of an asterisk with the set moment. 11. Again check up labels and be convinced that коленвал it was not turned concerning a starting position (at the left – combination of labels on the engine of 3,0 l, on the right – combination of labels on the engine 3,4). If the removed belt establish it on the labels put at removal puts on. If labels do not coincide, move a belt on a leading asterisk. The label on an asterisk of the left cam-shaft should be turned upwards and coincide with a label on a back cover of a belt. 12. The aperture under a pin in an asterisk of the right cam-shaft should be turned upwards (at 12 o'clock). If necessary uncover heads of cylinders (if did not act in film) and turn a cam-shaft before combination of labels on a cam-shaft and on a back cover. 13. Turn the left cam-shaft to an hourly arrow approximately on one step between teeths. If the removed belt combine an adjusting label with a label on a cam-shaft asterisk puts on. Dress a belt on an asterisk and turn a cam-shaft against an hour hand, having returned it in a starting position. The belt should have now a small tension. 14. Having combined an aperture with a pin, establish an asterisk of the right cam-shaft so that фланцевая the part has been turned inside. 15. Tighten an asterisk bolt, keeping position of labels. 16. Dress on an asterisk a belt, having combined labels (if the removed belt is established). 17. Compress in a vice натяжитель and drown плунжер. Fix плунжер, having inserted into cross-section through apertures a drill in diameter of 1,2 mm. 18. Establish натяжитель and tighten bolts. 19. Turn коленвал on 2 turns and check up combination of labels. If labels are not combined, repeat all actions on belt installation. It is forbidden to start the engine until then yet there will be no full confidence of correct installation of a belt. 20. Establish other details upside-down.
