6.1.14.5. Idling adjustment

THE GENERAL DATA

Adjustment spend on the heated-up engine with the adjusted backlashes in the mechanism of a drive of valves and the ignition moment.

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. To connect to the engine a control tachometre and a gas analyzer according to the manufacturer instruction.

2. The adjusting screw of quantity of a mix (it is specified by an arrow) to establish frequency of rotation of a cranked shaft in limits (750±50) mines-¹.

3. The adjusting screw of quality (structure) of a mix (it is specified by an arrow) to establish maintenance level oxide carbon (WITH) in the fulfilled gases no more than 1,0 (±0,5) %. To check up and if necessary to adjust frequency of rotation of idling, and then once again the maintenance WITH in the fulfilled gases.
