Removal and installation of the bearing of a wheel/knot of a nave

THE GENERAL DATA

Cars with a forward drive

Signs of the damaged bearings is the following: noise on abrupt turns; a heavy course of a wheel at the released brake. Bearings of wheels can be established only with application of the special adaptation. The bearing collapses as a result of removal, therefore it is necessary to replace it.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove a support and a brake disk of a back wheel, address to подазделу Removal and installation of a brake disk/support.
2. Turn on двенадцатигранную a nut of fastening of a wheel to a nave. ATTENTION Establish the lever of a face key horizontally to the left that at отворачивании nuts the car has not slid off sideways supports. Danger of accident!
	3. Remove the bearing/knot of a nave from a pin a stripper ().
	4. Remove the remained holder of the bearing from a nave a usual stripper with a collar ().
ATTENTION Thus do not damage gauge ABS.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. The bearing of a wheel/knot of a nave are replaced only in the complete set. Special adaptation AUDI-3429 is applied to installation. As a result наворачивания adaptations on a pin the bearing of a wheel/knot of a nave напрессовывается. Again remove the adaptation.
2. Screw new двенадцатигранную a nut and thus pull a nave against the stop. A nut tighten the moment 175 Н•м. ATTENTION Establish the lever of a face key horizontally to the right that at nut inhaling to exclude соскаль
3. Establish a support and a brake disk, address to подазделу Removal and installation of a brake disk/support.
