Removal and installation of a head of cylinders on the diesel engine
THE GENERAL DATA

Head of cylinders. The diesel engine
1 – a lining of a head of cylinders. Pay attention to marks.
2 – a bolt, 20 Н m
3 – a head of cylinders. To processing is not subject.
4 – an eye
5 – a bolt of fastening of a head of cylinders. It is necessary to replace necessarily. Bolts are tightened in the sequence corresponding to the 4-cylinder petrol engine
6 – an oil separator
7 – a cover of a head of cylinders. Consolidation is vulcanized. At damage the cover of a head of cylinders should be replaced entirely.
8 – a cover
9 – a cover of an aperture for oil pouring. Consolidation at tightness infringement replace.		10 – to a hose всасывания
11 – a collar
12 – the valve of adjustment of pressure
13 – consolidation. At damage replace.
14 – a nut with a fillet, 10 Н m. Grease an adjoining surface if the nut does not reach an emphasis
15 – a washer sealing top. At damage replace.
16 – a sealing cone bottom
17 – топливопроводы. Топливопроводы are replaced necessarily in the complete set. Do not change the form топливопроводов. The moment of an inhaling 25 Н m.
18 – the vacuum pump. For the brake amplifier.
19 – a bolt, 20 Н m
20 – consolidation. It is necessary to replace necessarily.

REMOVAL
ATTENTION

Operations and the instructions operating concerning all engines, are resulted in section for 4-tsilidrovyh petrol engines. In the present subsection the differences concerning the diesel engine are described only.


PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove клиновой a belt, address to subsection Removal and installation клинового a belt.
2. Disconnect electric wires from the device of a stop and spark plugs.
3. Clear a cold cleaner топливопроводы at joinings ТНВД and disconnect them. Close apertures caps.
ATTENTION

Wipe a rag the flowed out impellent oil. Disconnect pipelines of giving and return of oil at турбокомпрессора. Close pipelines polyethylene and rubber rings to exclude dirt hit.

4. Disconnect the pipeline of giving of oil to турбокомпрессору at holders and the holder of the oil filter.
5. Turn away bolts of fastening and remove the holder of a pipe of a cooling liquid. Remove a pipe.
ATTENTION

Wipe a rag the flowed out diesel fuel. Disconnect fuel hoses (arrows) ТНВД. Thus unclench pincers, for example, HAZET 798–5, collars. Close pipelines polyethylene and rubber rings for protection against a dirt.

6. Расстыкуйте a socket–2 gauges of pressure / temperatures at a soaking up pipe.
7. Disconnect a pipe of giving of air–1 from a head of cylinders.
8. Remove the top cover of a gear belt.
9. Turn away two bolts of fastening of a cover of a gear belt behind from both parties of a head of cylinders.
10. Turn the engine in ВМТ and remove a gear belt from a camshaft pulley, address to subsection Installation of the piston of the first cylinder in ВМТ.
11. Remove a pulley of a gear belt of a camshaft, address to subsection Removal and installation of a gear belt.
12. Completely turn away a nut of a tension roller.
13. At the diesel engine bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders with internal шлицами are established. Therefore for them отворачивания the special key, for example, HAZET 990 Sig–12 is required. Turn away bolts in sequence, their return numbering, that is with 10 on 1.
14. Take out by means of assistants a head of cylinders sideways from a protective casing of a gear belt and simultaneously remove a tension roller.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Heads of cylinders of the diesel engine to processing is not subject.
2. For a centering of a head of cylinders screw a screw-driver 3070 in external apertures of bolts of fastening directing fingers AUDI–3070/9. Instructions: If the specified fingers available are not present, instead of them old bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders with the cut off heads can be used. For отворачивания the fingers received thus it is recommended to make on a cut bottom under a screw-driver.
3. Depending on excess of pistons on a thickness various linings of a head of cylinders are established. At replacement of a lining pay attention to its marks and apply a new lining only with the same marks. An arrow–1: Number of the spare part, the marksman–2: an operating code (attention do not turn), an arrow–3: = marks (apertures).
4. If new pistons are established, check up excess of pistons and according to it apply a new lining (work HUNDRED).
5. Insert by means of the assistant a head of cylinders into a protective casing of a gear belt and simultaneously put on a tension roller.
ATTENTION

At installation of a head of cylinders do not bend the heat-shielding screen of a final collector back ears of a lining.

6. Bolts of fastening of a head of cylinders are tightened in four receptions in sequence with 1 on 10. The inhaling moments are resulted in Specifications.
