Removal and installation клинового a belt
THE GENERAL DATA

Ridge клиновой the belt is wider, than usual клиновой the belt and has some longitudinal edges. Ridge клиновой the belt actuates the generator, the oil pump of the hydraulic booster of a wheel, the fan of a radiator and depending on the equipment also the conditioner compressor.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the bottom cover of an impellent compartment, address to subsection Removal and installation of the bottom cover of an impellent compartment.
2. A turbodiesel (TDI): Remove a connecting pipe between интеркулером and турбокомпрессором. For this purpose ослабьте collars.
3. If the belt is established again, it is necessary to mark a direction of its rotation. For this purpose the felt-tip pen on a belt puts an arrow in a direction of its rotation. The engine, looking on the right side of the car, rotates to the right, that is clockwise.
4. Loosen the a belt tension. For this purpose turn the tension device накидным a key of 16 mm in an arrow direction. A klinovoj belt remove at first from a generator pulley. The generator pulley is located on the right near to a tension roller.
INSTALLATION
5. Pull the tension device flat накидным a key of 16 mm and put on клиновой a belt pulleys. In last turn put on a belt a generator pulley (on the right at a tension roller).
ATTENTION

At installation of the belt which was in work watch a direction of its rotation. The engine, looking on the right side of the car, rotates to the right, that is in an hour hand direction. Belt installation in an opposite direction leads to the raised deterioration of a belt.
6. Then slowly release натяжитель. Thus watch correct position клинового a belt on pulleys. The belt tension is established automatically.
7. A turbodiesel (TDI): Insert a connecting pipe between интеркулером and турбокомпрессором and fix its collars.
8. Start the engine and visually check up belt work.
9. Establish the bottom cover of an impellent compartment, address to subsection Removal and installation of the bottom cover of an impellent compartment.
