Removal and starter installation

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Disconnect a negative cable (–) the storage battery at the switched off ignition.
ATTENTION

Thereof the information from electronic blocks of memory, as for example, a radio receiver code is erased. Without a code the radio receiver can be included only the manufacturer or HUNDRED AUDI. Therefore familiarise with materials of subsection Input of a code of a radio receiver.


The diesel engine

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the storage battery, address to subsection Removal and installation of the storage battery.
2. Turn away bolts of fastening and remove the console of the storage battery (an arrow on an illustration).
All cars
3. Disconnect a wire–1.
4. Расстыкуйте a socket–2 also take out from the holder.
5. Disconnect a wire–4 and расстыкуйте a socket–3.
6. Take out wires from the directing.
7. Turn out the top bolt of fastening of a starter–1.
8. Remove шумопоглощающий an element in the centre.
9. Disconnect the pressure head pipeline of the hydraulic booster of a wheel from the holder (the marksman on the right on an illustration).
10. Turn out the bottom bolt of fastening of a starter–2.
11. Take out a starter downwards.

INSTALLATION

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Establish a starter and fix it to a check point the moment 65 Н m.
2. Fix the pipeline of pressure of the hydraulic booster of a wheel the moment 20 Н m.
3. Attach an electric wire of the plug 30 to a starter and fix the moment 16 Н m.
4. Join a socket of the plug 30.
5. Establish central шумопоглощающий an element.
6. The diesel engine: Fix the console of the storage battery and establish the battery, address to subsection Removal and installation of the storage battery.
7. Attach a weight cable (–) the storage battery. Attention: Make active high-rise automatics electric window lifterа, and also establish hours and enter a radio tape recorder code, address to subsection Removal and installation of the storage battery and Input of a code of a radio receiver.
