Removal and installation of a casing of the thermostat / the fuel filter (diesel models)

Removal

The new sealing lining is required.


 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative wire from the battery.
2. Empty cooling system (address to the Head Routine maintenance).
3. Remove the fuel filter (address to the Head Routine maintenance).

Cover with polyethylene a dome of transmission and a starter in order to avoid hit on them of spilt fuel.

4. Disconnect electroconducting from gauges of system of the cooling, screwed from above in a thermostat casing.
5. Disconnect hoses охладительного a path from a plastic casing of the thermostat.
6. Disconnect a hose охладительного a path from a branch pipe on the back party of a casing.

7. Turn out a bolt of fastening of a plastic casing of the fuel filter to the main casing of the thermostat.

8. Take a plastic casing and remove a sealing ring from its basis.



9. Turn out three fixing bolts and remove the main casing from a head of cylinders. Remove a sealing lining.

10. Disconnect a hose from the basis of a casing and take last from an impellent compartment.

Installation

Installation is made upside-down. Pay attention to following moments:
   a) Check up a condition of the sealing ring established on the basis of a plastic casing, in case of need make replacement;
   b) do not forget to change a lining at installation of the main casing;
   c) Track correctness of a lining and reliability of fastening of all hoses;
   d) Refuelling of system of cooling make according to the instructions resulted in the Head Routine maintenance;
   e) In summary do not forget to fill the power supply system (see the Head of the Power supply system and release).
