The gauge-switch of the permission of start/fires of a backing - the general information, removal and installation

The general information

The gauge-switch will screw from above in a crater of transmission and carries out double function, in the first, providing possibility of start of the engine only in two positions АТ (Р and N) and, in the second, operating inclusion of fires of a backing at a reverse gear choice. The first function of the gauge-switch does not allow to make casual start of the engine at the transmission put on transfer. The gauge-switch carries out the given problem by switching-off of giving of a food on the traction relay of a starter. Gauge-switch short circuit occurs only in two positions of transmission: Р or N. Any other situation to be to testify to a gauge-switch exit out of operation. At inclusion of a backspacing the gauge-switch carries out short circuit of a chain of signal lights of a backing, providing their inclusion. In default any of functions the gauge-switch is subject to replacement in gathering.

Removal

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. For the purpose of providing of access to the gauge-switch remove the battery with the pallet and a basic plate (the engine Electric equipment see the Head).
2. Walk on electroconducting back from the gauge-switch to a contact socket. Disunite a socket.
3. Turn out the gauge-switch and take it from картера transmissions, having removed together with a sealing ring.

Installation

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish on the gauge-switch a new sealing ring and screw assemblage in the carving aperture from above on картере transmissions. Strongly tighten the gauge-switch.
2. Restore initial connection of electroconducting. Establish into place a basic plate and the battery pallet. Strongly tighten fixture.
3. Establish and connect the storage battery (the engine Electric equipment see the Head) and check up serviceability of functioning of the gauge-switch.
